Humor is absolutely an initial draw and a desirable partner trait, as long as you know when it's not appropriate such as during serious talks and vulnerable moments.

Fact: if you don’t have children your genetic line ends Fact: if you have one son and he doesn’t have children your genetic line ends Fact: age gaps were the norm for the last several hundred thousand years of human history and even the woke women of today marry men 2.3 years older than themselves on average Okay but like who cares? We have plenty of genetic diversity in the world, why is mine or yours so special? You love to use the word indoctrinated, but are upset that the average "woke" peop…

Women had easier jobs huh? Because "slaving" for a corporation that pays her is so much worse than slaving away at home, often thanklessly and without any respites? We're people, dude, not robot baby factories. If you want to have a family so bad you can adopt one of the many hundreds of thousands of needy children who are in the system, and down the road so can I. If some women fuck around until they're older and have less options and they regret that so be it. Lots of people regret doing just …

Okay but attracted to and lusting after are two different things. I find loads of people attractive. I want to fuck exactly zero attractive strangers.

Ok my bad for getting too far from the topic. I have too much to say about that first part but I will refrain. Very curious what sources you have on the wage gap being debunked though because I very easily found numerous sources saying otherwise. And before you read the first paragraph and feel validated, keep reading. Women are paid less or equal for the SAME jobs, but never more. When women start to dominate a field the pay in that field decreases overall. They include links to plenty of data.…

I do apologize, I was basing my comment mostly on the original comment, which was about harassment, and not the further chain which was about "thirst" and not actions often driven by thirst. Looking has to be expected, we're human and in public after all. If someone looks me in the face and gives a friendly smile I'm down to chat comfortably and get to know them. If they're eye fucking me.. not so much. If someone lacks the self control not to leer though, they're making it my problem to deal wi…

I can think of two cases where this is very true. 1) Most common, he's valuable because this other woman has deemed it so. If she dumps him, other women may think there's something wrong with him, he is now less desirable. 2) He's already her backup so if he starts dating, she's motivated to reestablish her place as the woman he wants. I've felt these compulsions personally but it definitely doesn't mean I'll do anything about it or that I'm not interested in single people. Recognizing our innat…

No, but the sun isn't a cognisant human being with self control. I want to have enough money to live comfortably, that doesn't mean I'm going to go harass anyone I see who's well off to give me some. My body is driven to make a baby, but I'm smart enough to know that I shouldn't go get knocked up.

Are you saying men only get partners for sex..? So kinda what OP was saying to begin with? No one is just looking for someone to share life with, start a family with, or for emotional comfort and stability? 🤔

You're talking about all the power we have when the US is and always has been run by old white men who are actively taking away our rights and making decisions for us.. okay. I would absolutely give up being noticed by dudes if it meant we could actually be treated as equals, if we got paid the same for doing the same jobs, if doctors actually believed us when we said something is wrong with us, if we didn't have to be afraid of walking home alone. Yes please, this sounds like a win-win.

Thank you for sharing. Now imagine that scenario you just described, except it happens like 1 in 5 times you go out in public by yourself. I legit ordered a silicone wedding band I'm going to wear and see if anything changes because I'm tired of getting my personal space invaded at freaking grocery stores.

Yes friend, that is called mutual consent and some women are into it. Most of us want to be valued for more than the prime of our cut when it comes to relationships though, which as op said, is what we typically want from a partner/potential.

What exactly do you define as a kind complement? I don't find comments on my body to be any sort of kind, and I have heard it all from "you are beautiful" (moderately acceptable) to "your ass really fills out those jeans!"(fuck right off). I would be absolutely cool with anyone telling me "that is such a cute dress!" Or "I love your hair style" but unsolicited body comments are pretty immediately in the creepy and uncomfortable zone. Maybe don't make comments without a second thought if you have…

Yeah that's a little naive. It absolutely can be faked. But I think the original point is just saying that men may choose a homely girl as their number one, but they will not desire her with the passion that they would a very sexually attractive woman. To the homely woman this feels hurtful to her self esteem and also dehumanizing of the hot woman. In reality I think some men are weak minded and will salivate over hot women or even all out cheat and ruin the life they built because the desire an…

My apologies, "you all" was referring to this whole ass subreddit where I see this height issue pop up constantly. You on the other hand seem to have it figured out and I agree with you. I just don't get where they keep finding so many shallow women because I don't think I could name even one woman I am friends with who would turn someone down based on height. Maybe it's an age thing? Like they're going for 18-25 year old conventionally attractive women? I could see there being a high percentage…

Seriously where are you all finding these women!? I have been on dating apps and maybe see 1 in 50 women that will stipulate you must be 6ft+ to ride and they are definitely not the kind of person I would try to meet even without seeing that part. I would add bisexual, pansexual, and demisexual women to the list though. Not that being short makes a man less masculine but that a truly bisexual woman doesn't care so much about their partner "making them feel feminine" or whatever. We just like peo…

That's true! And the exact reverse happens, too. Women who string men along but keep them on the back burner or friendzoned. Absolutely nothing wrong with being friends with the gender you're attracted to, I'm referring to women who intentionally flirt to keep someone around but don't want to be physically intimate. They thrive off of the support and attention. I feel like my response to most threads in this sub could just be "people of all genders suck sometimes." It's almost like we're not tha…

Okay but.. who exactly is holding a gun to your head? I'm positive that dating apps don't contain only high maintenance women because here I am, and I've been on dates with other women who are also not like that. Unfortunately I haven't made it past a second date with anyone because we just don't "click", but you can rule out a lot of people by having a week or two of just talking. I will say that dating apps lend themselves to the "thank you, next" mindset and that sucks, but I also know plenty…

Single lady here. I may be talking to up to 20 people at any given time and I may agree to go on a date with 4 of those. I hate it. It takes loads of effort on our part. I can afford a nice enough dinner for myself on one hour of my salary. Why would I put the effort into setting up dates and my time and energy investing in conversations for something I can get for myself with no one having expectations of sex or the risk of someone getting hostile? I'm an average looking woman, too. I imagine t…

It's this simple. "Are you flirting with me?" Or "what do you mean by that?" Followed by actually listening to the answer. If she answers vaguely let her know nicely that her behavior is confusing you. If she doesn't care that she's confusing you, drop her. Cue personal vent I was once assaulted and nearly raped just because I'm shy and I laugh when I'm nervous. Dude heard all my "no thanks" but assumed because I laughed that I was just playing hard to get. No, fucker. I was traumatized in my pa…

What are you bringing to the table aside from this bitterness and self consciousness? What do you value about yourself? Are you smart, kind, empathetic, encouraging, funny, or loyal? Do you do things that make you proud of yourself? Can you be content with yourself? What does a cold approach look like from you? Personally I have been cold approached many times. Generally it goes like this: I'm minding my own business at work or out shopping and some dude walks up and says "damn girl can I get yo…
