When I lost my weight (50lbs, size 40 to 32) I have to say I did some pretty unconventional stuff that helped me get started. I certainly don’t recommend this stuff because I’m sure it’s not safe/smart/healthy/etc…but One of the things I did was take a shot or two before working out so that I felt more loose and to make it less boring to me. I also had what I called the “round up” method when lifting my weights which was if I didn’t end on a multiple of 5 then I pushed myself to reach it. The la…

I agree, this really is the system shining a light on the materialistic and fiscal differences between the sexes with the lens of targeted advertising. Men want cheap and useful (cargo pants) and women want expensive and status (jewelry). There’s cross over, but this is the majority.

True, should’ve dropped my last ex when she had a MAJOR problem with it. Learned my lesson

Ahhhh, yeah I suppose I’ve been pretty lucky in the ones I’ve made friends with. My female friends have been pretty level headed where they’ve seen the toxicity of feminazis and plastics, listened to the shit I’ve gone through and understand how difficult men have it today. We’ve hate-bonded over the garbage low-quality women in a sense. I suppose maybe the outsiders non-conformist type women might be better description of who to befriend.

Thank you. I’ve been this kind of bitch before, and it’s what happens when you don’t have enough self worth or self respect. It’s time for “men” to stop Van-Goghing their balls to [impress, please, etc] a woman and be themselves.

Not sure if this changes it, but I was thinking more tomboy, metal head/punk and lesbian women. I’ve made friends with many women like this and they (1) are usually not the biggest fans of women (I’ve been told multiple times how much women lie by them) and (2) oddly they appreciate having a male friend who doesn’t want to fuck them. Atleast in my experience they’ve been as loyal of friends as men, and I chalk it up to them not being prissy girls from the burbs/city who were bullied by those sam…

I totally understand this. It’s a very real fear, but like many fears there is often little need to worry about them in 90% of situations. I’m afraid of breaking a leg and dying alone in the wilderness. For that reason I’ve worked on balancing and keeping good footing, as well as rarely hiking alone (especially if hiking more than two miles) to avoid the scenario. My advice would be to work on creating safeguards for that situation to alleviate the fear when such situations arise. Keep windows o…

Since my last relationship I’ve invested the same amount of money I spent each month and, while stocks don’t always go up, I’ve seen my money grow 20% in the last half year which it wouldn’t have otherwise

Calculate the opportunity costs for a GF showed me how much my last relationship cost me. I figure I lost out on 700 bucks each month I was with her considering those were hours I could have worked, money not spent, hours I wouldn’t have driven, etc.

Exactly how I feel. In my eyes, the common thread that binds us is that we all have gone our own way; finding our own happiness independent of the approval of others. Along with that, you realize how much of the game is stacked to rob you of your happiness one way or another (legal system being the most commonly recognized one, as well as expectations by the opposite sex).

I live in Commiefornia and have reached this same conclusion. I pray ocean levels rise just to let this degenerate pit get flooded by the ocean.

This is 100% on point, IMO. This is literally why my ex and I broke up. She created a narrative that I was a bad person who liked cheating on her and didn’t care about her...despite me not cheating, always finding something to do related to her interests, traveling once a month to see her because of the long distance, and buying a ring to propose to her with. She even told me after the break up she “knew I had no intentions of ever staying with her” because she was “just the stupid good looking …

Low quality women go “REEEE, Men don’t think they need us and are starting to ask what exactly we contribute!”

From asking women, I’ve been told it’s just because you can “spend your life with someone, get to have a family, get to really know someone, share your life, blah blah blah blah.” Every reason they give you you’ll still achieve outside of a relationship, only you’ll have achieved it with zero money down and genuinely good company. Even having a kid can be done through adoption so that cuts out a whole host of the argument too.

I believe this is the cited study: https://www.acf.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/cb/cm99.pdf Edit: I don’t think it’s the cited source but it seems to back up the claims in the graph

From what I’m gathering it’s just dealing with strictly relationship to the victim, not considering the marital statuses like being a single mother or father with sole or joint custody. But I have to look into it more definitely. Will update if I can find better info

“I think it’s fitting.” It’s not good or bad, it just suits the occasion and is acceptable. Can’t guarantee they’ll be happy about your reply though, likely will be angry you didn’t boost their ego

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
