No, it's more dangerous for men by orders of magnitude. If you look at murder rates, violence etc.. the only 'defence is that the perpetrators are mostly men as well. But that attitude is what some would call 'victim blaming', 'they brought the violence on themselves by being a man' or 'yea but the male victim probably deserved it'.

I agree, we don't need to call it sexual assault to try and get attention. We can simply call it what it is, mutilating children's genitals. Or even more plainly Cutting off a piece of a babies penis with a knife and no anaesthetic.

My partner actually finds it sexualy attractive in the right context. She feels like I'm opening up to her. It's not the vulnerability that she finds attractive but the emotional connection and honesty, I think.

It's about personal rights! Not about pain, faith, medical or hygiene, comparison to FGM, feminism etc... It's about personal rights! Yea, it's very ambiguously worded so it would be very hard to prosecute. I guess if the BBC'S discrimination practices are legal then unfortunately so is this. I do agree that women are under represented ( what ever that means ) in Cinematographer roles but as always the cause is not simply discrimination.
