Yeah, I get that. There are always exceptions, same with promiscuous women, but who's going to take that chance when they have other options? Most people won't and I can't really blame them.

Say what you want, I don't see it, outside of mostly online male circlejerks that get harsh criticism to boot.

And I sympathize with high N women who get rejected for it, it really is sad, but at the same time I'm a man and I get why many men don't want to date these women. They really would have miserable relationships if they tried dating those women, just like women would if they tried to date incels.

Because this standard gets mentioned again and again here and it's clear that it's purely group delusion. The OP wsn't about this sub, if it was I would agree with you. Normal men in the outside world tend to not want high N women either but they don't complain in the way you see on this sub. And don't try to act like women who want 6 foot men or a 6 figure salary aren't met with similar hostility... On this sub they are, outside in the real world not so much, at least not if they're relativel…

Say you were a “fuck on the first date” kind of gal in your very early 20s but then at 24 you decide you want the “nuclear” family asap. Is it fair that you now make men wait til 5, 6, 7 dates before having sex? In that scenario the harsh truth is that she either fucked up or had bad luck when she was in her early 20s, but quite likely she's deep down also not truly aboard with being a monogamous, faithful wife with that nuclear family at age 24 either (even if she consciously believes she is) a…

True. It's only contradictory when you assume it should be "fair" (as in that bad luck or past decisions you regret shouldn't prevent you from getting what you want), and mathematically work out for everyone with an equal sex ratio, men don't assume those things, women do.

Women don't have to date strangers, and in the eyes of most men it's better if they don't, which is pretty much the crux of this whole thing. If you only date men you really like and have a reason to trust you'll probably never get to high N even if you sleep with them on the first date, because you'll get long term relationships out of it. Will that always work for every woman? No. But not all men care about low N anyway. And in the end that's life, it's not fair, there are no guarantees, all y…

If you complain about your lack of dating prospects yet hold a completely unrealistic standard, then you should re-evaluate your expectations. Either accept your standards are unrealistic and stop complaining about your lack of viable options, or change your standards. Who's saying that's the case here, and why does this particular standard get such hostile reactions compared to others that are just as, or even more unrealistic or unfair? And I don't really agree you should never get to complain…

Going from "low N" to "virgin". Women who've had maybe 4 sexual partners when they're 30 are a dime a dozen, so why the need to pretend like men want something impossible to find by claiming they want virgins.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 11:10 AM

Yeah, but where did the virgin strawman come in? >95% of men won't be upset if she had a handful of serious relationships before him.

That can be said for any standard really, for both men and women. And it's disingenuous to act like people aren't aware of the fact that standards making dating harder but consciously decide that some standards are worth it to them because they don't want to end up in miserable relationships.

For some men it's impossible to get, sure, just like getting an employed man with an IQ above 80 is not possible for some women. But does that mean that people shouldn't even try to have standards?

Yup, it's not exactly rocket science.

It's not really a contradiction if you're a discerning woman who only dates guys you are genuinely interested in and have something to base that interest and his trustworthiness on. Basically spent more time deciding if you want to date a guy before you have the first date. You also shouldn't assume this is about fairness with there somehow being a right solution to the puzzle that everyone can figure out at any point in their life and then live happily ever after. Some people just have low impu…

Yeah, there's no right answer because it's simply a preference. My advice would be to not overthink, and if you find yourself not wanting to have sex after a couple of dates with some guys while you do with others, then just end things there.

Somewhere during the first three dates. It doesn't reallt matter to me if it's the first, second, or third date. I'm not looking for a religious tradwife and life's too short to spend it with a frigid hag or some woman who's not physically attracted to me.

Yeah, the lingering around seems to be the most common way. Most men actually instinctively notice this and he'll know exactly which women he's not interested in are trying to get his attention, but overthink it when it a woman he actually would be interested in. Then they end up believing it's all just random and unknowable. It's a defense mechanism, or a cope, depending on your view.

It's not a conspiracy. It's media outlets churning out puff pieces to get ad-clicks from angry women who need to shit on something to feel better. These pieces aren't even meant to be read by men, or women in happy relationships for that matter, let alone be used for some cultural agenda. In fact, the whole idea is to keep this particular profitable outrage machine running, which would stop running if men really stopped having preferences. It's basically just corporations milking female circleje…

Tattoos are polarizing (some women love them, others hate them), which generally increases a man's sexual opportunities (some women loving him gives him more opportunities than many women feeling meh about him), but polarization always comes at the cost of forcing him towards a niche that he may not like.

I think part of the disconnect is that women don't often literally share top men. Not even unknowingly. It's just that top men are always fucking or dating some woman while other men have long dry spells, and top men have shorter relationships. So women genuinely won't recognize the picture of them sharing top men while non-top men simplistically think that top men must have harems. They're both wrong, or both right, depending on your definition of "sharing".

Yeah, well, that's like your opinion man... Being semi-serious here because it really depends on the person if they "need" love in a LTR. It's just another preference that you just have. Personally I've ended multiple relationships because I noticed a lack of love on my part slowly turning into resentment and apathy and couldn't stomach the though of that just getting worse for the rest of my life. Many people don't have the balls to end it and may even start preaching "love is a choice" to over…

Well, you never know about the ones you didn't notice. And different women will have contradictory way of showing interest: what's an "obvious sign" from one woman is another woman's "just being friendly". But I think the most common way is her just generally paying more attention to you than to other men (knowing her baseline is key), and sort of lingering near you a lot, to the point of it becoming obnoxious. I think most men do actually instinctively pick up on this when it's a woman we're no…

It's not normal, as in it's not the norm. I would want to protect him harsh disappointment. If I knew for a fact he would be successful I would encourage him to do it.

No, handsome men will be handsome with or without hair, most of the time, they just need to shave it all. Average men are usually uglier without hair than with hair, but since they're still average, and therefore not attractive to most women to begin with, especially to FDS women, it doesn't matter much IMO.

It's very rare and difficult for an unattractive man to become atractive to women through success. Even when it happens it's only with a niche of women who rank success higher and looks lower than the average woman. So no, I don't think unattractive men gain confidence from their success. I do think there are some unattractive men who are somewhat oblivious to how women perceive them or who are faking confidence, they're the kinds of unattractive men you'll most often see near women, which could…

I agree that this is a fairly normal way to grow, and it's not gender-specific: women definitely do it too, though maybe less often because they're less likely to have to date down. It's also a bit too cynical to assume people plan these things, some do, but for most it just happens because they're inexperienced, don't know their market value, don't know what they really want in a partner yet, may be far from achieving their potential, or have just given up on finding someone they really like (m…
