It has left me feeling empty and longing for a long term relationship / marriage. I’m 33. Thts all I want now. Most of the sex I had wasn’t even that good. The hottest girls were the worst in bed too lol.

Finding women should not be a reason to look at a new church. You risk sacrificing quality teaching and fellowship for the chance of being disappointed in the end anyway.

If you’re asking if it’s possible that Christ can work through anyone then of course, the answer is yes. You seem to REALLY like Jordan Peterson. I’ll bite, show me some of his biblical lectures because I’m curious if he has anything biblical to offer outside of just agreeing with men and teaching much holier than he and his teaching are.

What would benefit this young man more? The Word of God and Godly men, or a secular author with well documented fleshly struggles?

Jordan Peterson isn’t the Son of God last I checked

I just turned 31, and I found myself at the same crossroads you just described back in the summer time. I have a childhood friend of mine that I hadn’t spoken to in over 10 years. I would just see him post on Facebook occasionally. He’s a seminary student, studying to become a pastor and he has a huge interest in church history and doctrine etc. I felt “this guy can probably at least point me in a direction” so I reached out, in a half drunken message telling him “I want to know Christ. How?” Hi…

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to accuse you of promoting sin. I can just see so many of our brothers seeing “freedom” as just that.”

Enjoy your freedom as in fornication is still a sin so be free to seek out what keeps you from it. Cling to God my brother 💪

Question regarding point 1, say a young Christian brother NEVER finds or can find a woman he can see as being the ONLY person he will ever have sex with... should he just remain celibate and never marry? Thanks

So what are you claiming about sin? Should I not repent of it? Christian on Christian negative speak is so confusing. I believe in Christ and I’ve acknowledged that my sin is evil and I’ve turned and am continuing to turn, from it. Is that not cool? Repentance came about due to my faith and my beliefs so it followed belief. Is that not how it works?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
