I've had this question on every job application I've ever filled out. Lifeguard, cook, baker, call center worker, warehouse worker, temp agency, teacher, volunteer tutor, legal secretary, and civil servant. I live in the Midwest. My father has walked out of interviews before because he didn't want to talk about a DUI and a disorderly conduct he got when he was young.
