1	Are you proud of your father? Twice now, at funeral services, my dad has calmly taken over for somebody reading a eulogy. The most recent was when my B-I-L lost his brother. He tried to eulogize his brother but, as expected of anybody, broke down at the podium. He came back to the pews and handed my dad the eulogy. Dad stood up, went to the front, and calmly, with compassion, read the eulogy. It came out so well it would seem to be his profession. Very proud of him that day, the way he handled himself. In the US, the police seem to identify as being more military then civilian. They use military rank (and their rank is only important to them, otherwise it is meaningless), weapons, uniforms.
