I hold the door for everyone as well, but I couldn't count how many women have let the door go in my face. I mean I can't tell you how many men, children, or other people have let the door go in my face. I guess I just have never payed attention? It honestly does not matter to me if someone holds the door or not, unless I'm carrying stuff. But that happened most while I was working construction, with (essentially) only men...

I've also heard anecdotal (so don't read too closely) from ER dcotros that the patients mood and general "vibe" do affect the patients outcome. I wonder how much of that is correlation, and how much is causation. I also wonder if the doctors, even subliminally, pick up on their mood and adjust theirs. Like if a patient is all like "I'm gonna die" do you think that thought will rub off on your doctor?

Shit in private my buddy got beaten to an inch of his life. I'm talking bruises, cuts, broken bones, a fucking fork hanging out of his back. Ended up spending a few months in jail then even more because she kept violating the restraining order Shits fucked up dude

Every single person I've opened up to has either abandoned me or used those traumas as fodder to humiliate or otherwise make fun of me. Now, even with a super supportive group of friends that I truly trust I struggle to open up and discuss my issues.

I have a shirt, that while tight, i feel like shows off my build in a super flatering way. Same with my suit, when I wear them I feel like im on top of the world. Do I dress to impress, when the time calls for it. But sometimes i just like to dress nicley to feel better about myself. You should honestly try it, go get some really nice fitting clothes and youll feel way different.

Holy fuck my cat is the most important person in my life. Like literally. I’ve told my GF that I would choose my cat over her. I still think of him as a baby, but he’s already over 7. Just thinking about him dying makes me sad, I’ll be a complete mess when he dies. I actually don’t know how I’ll take it. I don’t know how I could. I’m going to cry so much. And fuck it, I don’t care that I’m supposed to be “manly” cause I just lost my fucking best buddy in the entire world.
