Agree with everything except TRO being in your permanent criminal record. Mine lied to the domestic support group in town, lied to her attorney, the judge, and her friends and family. It was untrue and her “evidence” was weak, her attitude and actions allowed the judge could see through it all. Similar to how the jury saw Amber Heard. Be the bigger person. This will pass my friend, lots of patience and support helped me get through it.

In Oklahoma you can simply go to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Child Support Division and file for child support. They will do everything. They also get their cut, I think it’s 10% every month. But you don’t need an attorney. Just remember, they represent the state, not you! Also, I hear it takes longer to get before a child support judge with DHS, as opposed to the family court judge. It could be 2-3 months (or longer) vs maybe six weeks on the docket for family court.

Being healthier also helps you sleep better which keeps your mind sharper and your emotions in check. All of which you’ll need in their neat condition to get through the divorce. Like the other responder said, it’s the biggest bang for the buck to help keep yourself, “right”.
