I'm not OP, but I'm currently reading The Power of Now and I'd say it's having a similar effect on me, although definitely not as dramatic. I'd say I overall feel better about work (I don't particularly enjoy my job overall, but I've come to terms with it) and I've had some really good experiences with friends since I've started it. The moral of the story isn't really about that certain girl, it's about having the willpower to act towards getting a girl that you want and the consequences of not doing so. In many areas of life failures and rejection are, in hindsight, overshadowed by the failure to act on an opportunity. Most, if not all, PUAs have a story or two about that HB10 they psyched themselves out of approaching and regret to this day.

Thank you, this has definitely cleared the idea up for me. I stress again that I don't claim to be an mPUA, I simply want to offer a picture of the general idea a (virtual) outsider gets.
