Yeah, time matters more than money. It's a classist argument to say that whoever earns more for doing what could be an easier job gets to not clean. The poorer paid work might be more difficult and time consuming. Also, even if that's not the case, each person can still clean up after themselves, how much mess are you making, really? Throwing socks on the floor is just gratuitous, really, not the way an adult should be behaving.

I understand you think women should do the work of entering a meditative state so that they can find more men attractive, as you believe they haven't already done this. I disagree, as many in my experience clearly have done this out of necessity, and yet still find a dearth of acceptable (and morally compatible) men, especially in a culture that values female attractiveness over men's. We both agree that a process of self discovery is essential for any human being. Men may have red flags, but is…

So how do you dive into your subconscious and pick and choose which selectivity you want to have? What if you make the wrong choice, and your initial intuitive reasons for selectivity were the right ones? There's many red flags you need to deal with, reason yourself out of all of them you might end up with negligible results. My point was partly that these red flags are more widely distributed amongst men than women.

That's a really in depth answer, I appreciate your experience. I still believe women's and men's experiences are different in this regard, it's not entirely useful to make direct comparisons, but it's interesting. I think this situation is very specific, most women aren't dealing with the problem of not allowing themselves to be with men they like because they're ashamed of what other people would think, I think many women have already worked to overcome that. It's a luxury mostly men are able t…

Lol, how did you expand your field of interest? Did you find any methods that worked?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/20 05:34 PM

Neither can tolerate rejection, but women are more afraid of it, they feel they have more to lose, because unattractive gets equated with worthless for a lot of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/20 02:13 AM

Expand who you like. I'm pretty sure every woman who's out there "playing the field" has already expanded her field of interest to a great extent.

Amateur means they're not connected to a big studio. It doesn't mean it's laypeople putting their goods out there just for funsies.

The problem isn't only that the op doesn't understand that, it's also that fantasizing about being with a person you enjoy doesn't have the same moral value as fantasizing about committing violence and hate crimes against people.

Shaming? There's a movement to stop the exploitation of women and teenage girls by porn producers, boohoo, you lose content, too bad. Do you know why you lose content? Cause the payment processors can't make sure all the models are legal or not, and wanna cover their asses. Your last paragraph doesn't even make sense, check your logic.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/20 04:39 PM

Don't bother, he thinks that pornstars enjoy it, and that when women watch the stuff they think that the pornstars are enjoying themselves, which is why he calls it "neutral." Any man that thinks porn sex is "neutral" isn't going to understand what you're trying to say. There's a fundamental misunderstanding here, and it starts with him believing he knows more about women than they do. If you start with that, conversation is impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/20 04:36 PM

Again, would you judge those men for watching it or not? What's the contest?

Please explain in detail. Are you deliberately obtuse? or are you jerking off to this? People like porn with hot people in it, that's the detail you're missing. why shouldn't men be encouraged to enjoy any fictional fantasy they want? I specifically used your phrasing to ask you whether it's ok for this porn to be created for women. NOT, as you answered for men. Would you want women watching this?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/20 04:18 PM

No, that's disgusting. But it also happens a lot in porn. To turn the question back around on you, "Do you think it's ok for a movie to be aired about an ugly woman who kidnaps, grooms and forcefully touches an attractive male who is a fictional character, for the sake of women jerking off to it?"

They don't actually want to get raped, they want someone to do to them what they want done, without having to tell them. AKA Rape by all legal definitions of modern western countries because retroactive consent does not mean you did not sexually assault that woman in the club whose ass you touched out of the blue without any readily apparent consent. Wtf are you trying to prove? The law should be changed because women like jerking off? Or women shouldn't jerk off because the law says that the fi…

Rape-kink is a very different thing and very extreme, most women aren't into it, know your labels. What you're describing is a rape fantasy, and that's a misnomer. They don't actually want to get raped, they want someone to do to them what they want done, without having to tell them. Characters in erotica aren't real people, you know? They're just fill ins for the reader. It's like, you know those joi videos? That's what it is, Edit: Also, I can guarantee that I understand it way more than you p…

Oh man, there's a lot to unpack here. There's TOO MUCH to unpack here. There's too much for you to understand, that you don't understand, and idk if it's possible in a paragraph or whatever. You need to either grow up and learn about life and ask this question after, or just accept this topic isn't for you, you're not an expert in it, and you'll never understand.

Can you open a popular porn websites and fetch me, without having to actively search for it, a video from the first 5 pages in which you see a blatantly ugly male with an attractive woman? Yes. Open any porn site, you'll find it. If you're not gay, you might not notice they're ugly, but women do.

There's a lot of trafficking business that goes on in those legal brothels, there's some good websites and blogs that go into it, if you wanna do some research. Think of it as a restaurant inspector, sure they might pass a monthly inspection, but that doesn't stop some places from having a few rats and expired products from time to time, except in these cases, it's more serious.

And the usual sources will give the usual excuses for why that doesn't involve calling out people who tend to make bad life choices economically, and socially, might also make shitty food decisions. Maybe because they've suffered a lifetime of trauma, depression, and hopelessness?

I get that, but also in terms of ethics law isn't the be all end all. There are still unfair economies and underpaid labor around now, all totally legal. You could even argue maybe they shouldn't be made illegal but should be fought in other ways, like wealth caps, more accessible education and upwards mobility. I think in terms of romantic relationships there's much more complexity, and certain things might privilege certain groups over others, and although nothing should necessarily be done ab…

The only thing I disagree with is "If the market will bear fulfillment of a person's preferences, then that and that alone means they deserve the fulfillment." There are unethical markets in all areas, not just sexual ones. Sweat shops exist, child labor, undocumented workers etc. At some point, some very unsavoury things were able to be justified because the market allowed them to flourish. I'm not making direct comparisons between all of those things, but saying that eventually the economy got…

Nagging is the wrong tool for the job, but most people don't know how to use any other ones. So it's wrong to accuse someone of nagging, because you're the one doing something wrong that you need to be nagged about. But at the same time, clearly nagging isn't working, because even the term itself implies that it's ongoing. So another solution needs to be found. Like, take that guy in the comments who left his dirty socks on the bench in the lobby everyday when he came home. His gf should've told…

Now you're talking out of patriarchy's ass. You have the sperm, you have responsibility where you put it. You have the power to create life within another person's body, and have that other person do the work for you. Have some goddamn balls.

Maybe women learn it because there's so much men need to be to be attractive to women, so women figure out how to be all those things, because they think that's what men want. But men think all they need to be is be fit and have a dick, because that's all that they themselves need (or at least they think they do) Or maybe because all the women already did all the work, that's why men think they need less, because thy think every woman is just naturally like that and have nothing to compare them …

This is your comment rephrased without putting the blame on women: "Boy, men should really be more careful about sticking around then, since they are incapable of taking responsibility if they're even aware of it at all." Arbitrarily putting the blame on women is a pattern evident in patriarchy.

I know, right? The ignorance in that post, Lmao how can you think this? Women are told 24/7 that they're beautiful, perfect the way they are, have no need to change themselves, Lol what? Meanwhile thousands of girls are spending roughly 50-70% of their lives obsessing and torturing themselves over how they look, thinking that all of their self worth depends on it. The commenter is confusing society's poor attempts to counter its own more insidious messages, with the messages themselves.

I think most men have a really hard time of gauging the attractiveness of both themselves and other men. That is so fascinating, why do you think that is? Could it be a direct result of boys believing when they're told they're handsome and high self esteem?

So the question is how to make women like non chads? Hm. That would make them Chads, though, wouldn't it? Like, once they rise in attractiveness levels, they would technically be chads, so making them into chads, and making women like non chads is essentially the same thing, funny

Dates don't even have to involve sex. Courtship, human mating rituals, whatever you wanna call it. It exists inside of a patriarchy, and makes it complicated for women to express themselves, and basically has set ONS/longterm dating archetypes that aren't ideal, especially if you're struggling to figure yourself out, which happens to women more. Idk, that's an unrelated tangent, but it's something to think about. Because female sexuality is show IOIs and wair until you get appproched? That is th…

There is no education on male sexuality as well. The other response was perfect, also the other example she used, of watching the sex scenes in movies where the sex is over when the man comes, actually applies to guys. They know they can get stimulation in that way. Not only that, but there's a lot of female sexuality that isn't expressed in the media, and is not a usual topic of discussion in real life. Maybe that's changing, but slowly. Dating is not set up for the female sexual experience. Ev…

Why would you want women to want to fuck non-chads casually? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the whole process you outlined in the first place? Or do you want to train men to approach Chadness, to get a piece of the action?

How do women know this unless they have a lot of casual sex? Once or twice may not be enough to make this a consistent claim. Lol, that sounds like you're trying to convince women to sleep around more. Should all women commit themselves to multiple unsatisfying and risky experiences to have more scientific data on the question, in order to earn your belief and respect of their conclusions? And if they don't sleep with 100 men, then their sample size is too low and their opinions should be thrown…

Oh no, your testosterone poisoning has made you unable to control your anger issues, which is why you're using ad hominem slurs instead of getting straight to the point. /s lol, troll 50% > 0%; the formula works as long as men believe the chances of getting a wife is greater if they do go to war than if they don't, which has historically been the case. The chances will vary by war and society, but the calculation is the same. It's better for a man to risk death to pass on his genes than to "play it safe" and guarantee he doesn't - from an evolutionary and biological perspective. War is not a biological reality, it's a social one. By your calculations, going to war is the shitty reproductive strategy, because the man is reducing his chances of passing on his genes by 50%. But, because of social factors, and the fact that evolution doesn't care …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/19 04:36 PM

That's a wrong understanding of evolution. Evolution doesn't care about what you want, it just cares about what works. And what works is if people die, they can't pass on their genes. Whether or not reproduction is an imperative is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/19 12:25 AM

What is the point that you're trying to make? That self preservation is tied to women's biology, implicitly excluding men, like men in your estimation do not have the self preservation instinct, because they reproduce differently? That's ridiculous.

Also in a lot of cultures women from a young age were raised to someday go away with their new husband's family and be his wife. So they were expected to adapt anyway, although it wasn't easy.

TLDR: Idk, it seems kinda boring, there's already ways for men to approach women that are respectful. Men already have such flawed beliefs about women, that if you could restructure society to be like in the op, you could probably spend the same energy teaching men about power structures, people still being equal at heart, and responsibility, and making it more acceptable for women to be assertive/aggressive, and get the same result. So maybe a milder version of the OP. Evolution suggests that m…

I get your point and the subject-object explanation is useful sometimes, but it's not the only way of understanding things. It is necessarily true given male and female anatomy. That doesn't automatically follow. A man can jizz on a woman's face; That is not the heterosexual sex act. This has only risen in popularity over the recent years because it looks tantalizingly degrading on camera. Before video porn, this wasn't even prevalent. a woman can't jizz on a man's face. If so, how can you reason that the person on the receiving end of a sex act is NOT the object in that particular interaction? You assume women are on the receiving side of a sex act because that's the common truism. It's not necessarily true, either one can be the subject or object, that can change. But what I said doesn't change. Plus, in any given exchange, there is actually a question of who is doing what. /r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 09:51 PM

Close, but wrong way of putting it. Women are not the object and men the subject, women just have more risk associated with the sexual act as it often happens inside of them, and outside of the male body. Men expel, women absorb. And you wouldn't want to absorb something nasty, whereas you would want to expel something nasty away from you.
