I'm going to go against the grain here, and ask for more info - how much are you worth? Do you stand to lose a lot if the marriage dissolves? Do you live in a state known for divorce rape? If the circumstances are right, you could roll the dice, get a really strong prenup, and hope for the best. If what you say is correct, she does at least seem like she meets LTR criteria.

Solid points. I slightly misconstrued your point, you're not saying they prefer being a single mother, but that the consequences of single motherhood are way less severe than they used to be. In that case, I could definitely see a correlation between LBJ and the rise of single motherhood; however I wouldn't say it was the cause, but rather just part of a rising cultural tide towards this.

You'd be hard pressed to make a legitimate argument that women prefer welfare + single motherhood over having a good beta bux provider.

This is the first time I've heard anybody attribute the downfall of traditional marriage to Lyndon Johnson. Care to elaborate? I'm genuinely interested to see if your opinion has merit.

Same. I do think the current scoring system incentivizes takedowns & grappling control too heavily, but in general, the contest of 2 men fighting each other is extremely compelling, dramatically and strategically.

"The north had to make a fiasco out of it." This comment betrays the ignorance of your argument. You can't go forward as an advanced, just society when people are openly enslaved. This was a very natural progression, and the fact you think it was "The North" making a fiasco out of it, you're crazy. It's the southerner's faults for not having a viable exit strategy from a slave economy, despite the obvious signs they were going to have to change. I agree with you that the common working man is a …

I mean, slavery worked well for southern plantation owners until they got taken away. Then they got fucked financially, when slavery was abolished and they got wrecked in the civil war. And since only the top 5% owned slaves in the first place, a whole shit ton of southerners got wrecked in the civil war for something they didn't even reap the benefits of. So can you really say that it worked for them, in the long term?
/r/TheRedPill20/04/16 01:26 AM

He was right that slavery was part of building societies, but there are also societies that weren't built on slavery that are also pretty fucking impressive. Saying 'slavery is good' isn't just morally fucked up, it's also extremely small minded and misses the larger truth.

All Abrahamic religions encourage women to be submissive, that was historically one of it's strengths. Of course that doesn't work in the age of empowered women, but as a result, the top value men have their pick of the slut litter. Better for the top guys, worse for the clods.

My own experience agrees 100% with this. The girlfriends I've had that were the most DTF, eager and nurturing were always the ones who I honestly wasn't even that into. It was when I was batting out 'of my league' with HB8-10s, whom I put on the pedestal, that I got turned into a lapdog.
/r/TheRedPill06/04/16 07:37 PM

It absolutely is. That's why I laugh when people on this forum talk about how red pill traditional religion is. It's the opposite, it's blue pilled as fuck. The smart guys just used it to get their wives to be submissive and nurturing.

Honestly, $8k a year isn't that bad for a kid. If you want a kid, having somebody else do all the bitch work while you spend weekends with him seems like a good deal to me TBH.

You don't need a girlfriend/ wife if you really want a kid. You could adopt or get a surrogate (if you really want the kid to have your genes). If you have good female role models close to you (family or friend) then there's no reason you can't raise a healthy, good kid.

If you stand with good posture (knees bent, feet under knees under hips under shoulders, back straight but not too far back, ribs expanded), your diaphragm will naturally assume it's optimal position. This posture is not only stronger an more functional, but conveys confidence much better.

I honestly think if you want to have a kid, you don't need a spouse or even a girlfriend. It takes strong financial means, but you could totally adopt/ have a surrogate, hire a night nurse (so you can sleep at night - very important to stay well rested for job performance and better parenting), hire a nanny (watch the kid during the day, provide female nurturing), and even a wet nurse if you really want the kid to reap the benefits of breast feeding. If you have strong female role models in your…

Yeah, because World War 2 did so much to reduce the world's population, there definitely wasn't a surge of reproductive activity after the war, a "boom" of babies (if you will). And if you think that war only weeds out the pussies, you're wrong. In fact, the more cowardly you are, the more likely and apt to surviving you are. Most people afraid of war and battle will do everything in their power to NOT get thrown into the front lines.

Women being more emotional is not something that should preclude them from being able to vote, they are citizens with full rights. And since you don't even "believe in democracy," maybe you should be the one to evaluate your own beliefs? No need to be so defensive, I disagree with your opinion - if that's "bashing" then I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, I figured people on this forum could handle serious discussion. It's not a question of who's better - nor is it a matter of equality. It's a matter of EQUITY - society should be fair and impartial. Yes - women deserve every civil liberty that men do. But where 3rd wave feminism has jumped the shark is in fighting for extra privileges, which inherently implies that they AREN'T equal and that they deserve special treatment to be EQUITABLE to men. If society truly had equity, men would be able to deny & refuse fatherhood responsibilities just as women can deny …

/r/TheRedPill07/03/16 06:19 AM

I'm specifically saying that the statement "if you've never tried something you can't have an opinion" is wrong.
/r/TheRedPill03/03/16 09:01 PM
1

I mean if you've never tried something you can't have an opinion one way or the other. That's insane. I've never tried Meth and I know it's fucking bad for you and highly addictive. You're making a rookie mistake and thinking that personal experience is the best thing to base a position on, but it's quite the opposite. One single person's set of experiences is nowhere near a large enough sample size to truly identify any meaningful info. Facts + good data analysis > personal experience.
/r/TheRedPill01/03/16 05:40 AM

Yeah it can't work after that. Some people can make swinger relationships work, and some people can just get away with cheating and keeping it secret. But if it becomes known and obvious, as you said it turns toxic and shitty.

/r/TheRedPill26/02/16 04:57 PM

Honestly I think that was the right move for a beta, that other guy clearly would have beat his ass so showing him that respect and subordination saved his skin. Of course it only further entrenched his failure with his 'girlfriend,' but that ship had already sailed.

To credit the beta, at least he clearly knew the other guy was superior and could easily beat his ass. I feel a bit sorry for the beta here, he's clearly ass deep in blue pill belief and it's hard to blame him. I think most of us are, not very many people have swallowed the pill or would even know about it. Holding jail as a microcosm of societal race relations is completely idiotic. If you honestly think that being in jail is an "uncontrolled environment akin to nature," then you don't know shit about jail or nature. Many of the people in jail are poor and come from segregated backgrounds in the first place, where they are likely to be already in race segregated groups with hostility towards other races. This is amplified in prison and perpetuates itself. I agree with a lot of the core beliefs of …

It's good that you know you need to stop, but you just have to now focus on being brave and not caving into your beta instincts. If you say "let's get drinks," that doesn't mean "come to this bar and I'll buy you all the drinks you want." If she's too poor to afford drinks, think of a cheaper date - coffee, walk in the park, etc.

I don't agree, I think you can still be nice to friends and family. And with women, I argue that the "nicer" thing overall is to have a strong alpha frame that will keep them satisfied and interested.

Prostitution should absolutely be legal, there are literally no downsides and it's better for both parties. The only thing stopping it from happening in the US is the strong stigma from the Christian right, and some residual 2nd wave feminism.

Sex has way more benefits than just feeling good, but I assumed that was obvious/ well known and I didn't need to explain that like everybody here is retarded. As for your argument that chasing pleasure isn't the most rewarding lifestyle, that's another debate entirely. Nah that's a shit argument. "Reproductively harmful" is a non starter, fucking a dude in the ass or getting pounded in the ass does nothing to harm your own reproductive ability; socially, our planet is already overpopulated as fuck and we can use more people to adopt unfortunate orphans. "Instinctually harmful," I don't even know what you mean by that. If somebody's instincts are to fuck dudes, then it's more harmful if they don't do that. The hubris in your argument is apparent. I don't know man, if you fuck her once you might as well repeat a few times. Any STDs you risk getting, you risk just as much the first time as you do any subsequent encounters. If you think she's a disease infested whore who will melt your dick on contact, then maybe you shouldn't be fucking her in the first place. That, or just accept the fact that you will probably get HPV or Herpes.

Funny that this article comes out around the same time of the Bernie Madoff special on ABC. I'm in the minority here on TRP, but I don't think there's anything wrong with hooking up with a tranny, or being gay/ bi/ whatever. I would take a mean blowjob from a tranny any day of the week. I wouldn't be into any more than that, because I prefer vaginal sex over anal sex. Interesting, I like that theory. I don't read fan stuff for SoIaF, but I read the books and watch the show. Back on topic, I still don't think Ned is a good example of somebody who acts like a beta towards women. The reason Ned warned Cersei was that he thought he had the upper hand, so he could be honorable. Regardless, warning her isn't what caused his demise. Ned DOES treat his wife very lovingly, but is not overly beta. To me, the dynamics of his marriage is very Red Pill. And it's okay that…

Like Frag said, most schools allow you to start MMA classes right away, and I definitely recommend it. I've trained for years, went to Xtreme Couture in Vegas for a few years, and started MMA classes the first day I was there. Ned Stark is a weird example to bring up as a blue pill beta. By all accounts he had a very healthy sex life with his wife, who he was the clear alpha in the relationship, and she was a very supportive + submissive wife. He even got some strange on the side (resulting in Jon Snow's birth).

Cruz looked like his old self in the first 3 rounds, but Dillashaw was finally able to exploit his susceptibility to low kicks. If TJ fights that smarter in a rematch, he beats Cruz 100%. Nice article, though, and as a longtime fan, I have to say I'm pretty stoked that Cruz was able to come back and get the belt around his waist again. There are still options, marriage is just one that really stacks the deck against your happiness and posterity. If you want kids, you can adopt, use a surrogate, have a kid outside of marriage. The first 2 options are probably the only ones where you can ENSURE that the child will remain in your custody, but if you're in a LTR and play your cards right, you could still get partial custody. The key to getting by in modern marriages/ LTR is to stay on top of your dread game, have a good prenup in place, and at the end of the day - don't fall into the trap of thinking your spouse is a butterfly. If you can do those things, marriage is still a decent way to raise children in a normal family unit.

I think it could be something else entirely - other than a university position, wouldn't a major in CS be a much clearer path to a career out of school, than a major in math? To a woman that achieves things, and has that kind of ambition, I would think that getting a solid job is more important than following the more abstract path.

Interesting points. My only counterpoint is that not seeking female/ outward approval is one thing, but not seeking heterosexual sex is another thing entirely. I don't think seeking sex is necessarily motivated by seeking approval, so much as it's motivated by the fact that good sex is awesome.

Yes, condoms overall have a failure rate of around 3%. Whereas the pullout method has a 22% failure rate. I've yet to see any data of what the success/ failure rate is for condoms when "used properly" 100% of the time. But at any rate, I consider it much more reliable. I've been a sperm donor in the past, and let's just say I'm shooting with a very loaded gun. I can't afford to gamble on my precum messing up my life plans.

That will never happen, IMO. The true red pill alphas and natural alphas who get as much ass as they want, they have no need or incentive to stop that. Then the rest are all betas who still believe in the fairy tale romance.

I just wonder how that works with MGTOW, though. They claim that it doesn't mean being celibate, but how do you get sex if you don't actively pursue women? Do they just use very low investment tactics (Tinder/ POF/ OKC), wait for the women to come to them, buy escorts, any/ all of the above? If that's the case, then I probably fit more into MGTOW in many ways. I'm very laid back and normally don't go way out of my way to get plates. Even if you pull out on time, there's still the fact that precum in most healthy men contains live sperm. You're playing with a loaded gun. And from my perspective, pulling out isn't even all that satisfying. I get to enjoy only a few fleeting moments of raw pleasure before having to pull out and downgrade to a blowjob/ handjob. I wouldn't bank on that, an article I read on the topic said that 22% of coupled who used the pull out method became pregnant within a year. Condoms are much more consistently effective than that.

The real problem here might be that you're clinically depressed. Your attitude that life is meaningless is what leads me to believe this. I also am an atheist and don't believe in any kind of prescribed meaning/ purpose of life. But to me, this is liberating and exciting. To me, I take it as a blank ticket to make the purpose of MY life to fit my own wants and needs. I do what I enjoy, as a vocation and in my hobbies, and that's what life is about for me. Enjoying myself, enjoying the game (and …

My advice is, if you're gonna play the asshole, be a funny asshole. Don't be unnecessarily rude if you don't have some humor to counterbalance it. Treat the women more like you would a little girl - don't take what them seriously, poke fun at them and keep it fun.

And it makes sense, too - "you're thinking with your dick" is exactly what ALL ads are trying to exploit, at the end of the day. You have 2 basic human impulses that drive all your behavior: Survive and Procreate. That's it. Our bodies have evolved to give us pleasure when we fulfill these desires - sex feels great, eating salty/ sweet/ greasy food tastes great, quenching your thirst with a glass of water feels great, taking a piss after holding it for a long time feels great, taking a nice fat …

It's not even just the maternity leave that sets women behind in pay. Research has shown that women in the same job positions as men make JUST AS MUCH MONEY, sometimes a little bit less. The real reason for the "gender wage gap" is simply that many women have "pink collar" jobs that inherently pay less than other jobs. And even in the labor fields that require less college education, there are men who do manual labor jobs like Construction/ Plumbing etc who can make good money, despite the lack …

I've always thought it was crazy how much money people spend on weddings. Fuck, just get married at city hall, then throw a big ass party at your house where everybody byob. Just as fun, without all the damn hassle.

I personally like it a lot better the way things are now. There are plenty of women who will fuck before marriage, which is way better than having to deal with a nagging bitch of a wife and kissing her ass to try to get sex. And if you have a kid, the worst that comes of it is you pay child support. If you were married, and then divorced, you would probably have alimony on top of the child support payments.

This is reminding me of the current situation with James Deen - I have no idea whether or not JD assaulted the women who claim he did, but he's getting shit on in the court of public opinion. Deen's former boss cut all ties with him, and said "The court of public opinion is not a court of law, and I don't need Stoya or any woman to 'prove' that she has been raped for me to believe her. Women who come out as rape victims are far, far, far too often not believed."

An underdiscussed point here is how his religion held Tebow back from fucking a supermodel. Religion wants to make you a beta provider just as much as women do. Put your faith before your own pleasure, tithe as much as you can, volunteer as much of your time as you can.

I don't think so. I think the level of discourse, as it is, is already so disgustingly low that people who can competently discuss these kinds of things shouldn't hold ourselves to a lower standard.

You're making the mistake of pandering to the masses. You seem smart enough to know that uninformed plebs shouldn't control the narrative. Lead by example, use accurate terminology, don't call sappy idiots "Social Justice Warriors," - you're just giving them a legitimacy they crave and don't deserve. That's my problem with the whole thing. You shouldn't pander to morons. Elevate the discussion, and if people are too daft to keep up, they're not worthy of being included in the first place.

You're a fucking idiot, lol. Like family courts are even relevant to our discussion (and, by the way, women don't get child custody because of societal oppression, but because they're considered more nurturing and essential parents. That has nothing to do with oppression, that has to do with societal norms of gender).

That's a falsehood. The actions of people can't change the true meaning of a philosophy, the idea is an immortal, unchanging thing. If you choose to let people's actions change the meaning of a just philosophy, then you're not only giving them power and cheapening the idea, but cheapening yourself by getting tricked like that.
/r/TheRedPill21/03/15 06:29 PM

That's where you're wrong, "People should have equal opportunity" is the ONLY meaning of Social Justice. Whether people profess to be "Social Justice Advocates," and represent things you don't agree ARE in the interest of truly equal opportunity.... is irrelevant. People's actions don't change the meaning of a concept. If you think they do, then you're frankly small minded.

Not being a selfish asshole, to start... And I'm not even saying you should do anything about it. But saying that Social Justice, the IDEOLOGY that says people should ideally have equal opportunity to prosper, is BAD betrays either ignorance or hatred/ apathy. And calling people who you disagree with on gender issues "Social Justice Warriors" is just dumb. It gives them moral high ground and legitimacy. Call them a white knight, call them a soppy liberal, call them plain stupid.

Minority races have hardly had 50 years to even enjoy the full rights of a normal person in our country, 100 years before then their forefathers had just been released from slavery with no economic foothold to grab onto. If you don't think that we've been working in a loaded system since day 1 then you're delusional. If you think that a poor kid born in Stockton, CA has the same opportunities as a rich kid from the Hamptons, then you're fucking high.

All the things you listed ARE fundamentally well intended, good things, except for Nazism. The fact that you included Nazism in the list with the other ideologies shows that YOU'RE the one who has no clue about morality.

Exactly - judge the individual person, not the philosophy (Social Justice is a good thing). But by directing that frustration/ hate towards "Social Justice Warriors," you're giving them a moral high ground that they're probably not deserving of.

"Nazism is a good thing." Seems like you're the one who doesn't have a clue, if you think Nazism was a good thing, and in any way comparable to the concept of Social Justice.

Yes, it's subjective in practice, but then you shouldn't be attacking Social Justice. You should be criticizing the people who misrepresent themselves, you should be picking apart their faulty arguments. Social Justice is a good thing, idiocy is not.

Nobody reasonable has ever said that. It's foolish to deny that white men have historically had it pretty good in western civilization, but I don't think anybody (whose opinion is worth respecting) has ever suggested you "give up your achievements, property, and money," because other people have been oppressed.

Spotted the right winger. When you mention the "haves," (I assume you mean people who are professionally successful) those are by and large people who had circumstances which allowed them to succeed. By your logic, all those starving kids in Africa are living in squalor because they're lazy deadbeats.... not because they were born into crippling poverty, with no resources to improve their circumstances.
/r/TheRedPill20/03/15 07:28 PM

No, that's a warped definition of Social Justice. The actual definition - Social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities.

True, but fighters expenses are massive (as I'm sure you know). Paying for a championship level training camp is ridiculously expensive, between coaches/ partners/ ancillary costs (nutritionists/ massage therapists/ etc). Add in taxes, and even the top level fighters are only really making a fraction of their fight purse. Then add in the fact that a top level fighter may get in 2-3 fights a year, and have maybe 5-10 years of fighting in their prime. With the way the industry is, fighters need to…
