I think if you prioritize taking care of yourself and your grades you should be okay. High School is supposed to be one of those endless things but when you graduate, you'll feel so much better. You might get a girlfriend at any point, and you probably will. You have the rest of your life ahead of you to find yourself, and if you go to college you'll probably meet so many more people. I would suggest meditation, in place of a hobby that you don't necessarily enjoy, if there is one. It can help g…

It sounds like you've done a lot of work internally on yourself. It sounds like you have more to go, but that's okay everyone does. I wish you best of luck on your journey. You completely deserve love and affection and sex like every other human being (well, every one who wants sex deserves it, anyway,). You seem like you're highly intelligent and capable, and that you have the ability to get in touch with your soul and emotions despite what the world has done to you and how you responded. Sendi…

I've often wondered this about someone in my life... I'm now 95% sure that he's on the spectrum and is undiagnosed. (Not because of this post lol). It just all makes so much sense.

So I can see the review you gave is completely unbiased and well rounded here.

I don't feel magnetism... Just wish people weren't monsters. I've grown with a lot of folks over the years, been traumatized by a lot more, and now I have a natural urge to just ditch the whole idea of a relationship. I wish I could get something, anything else from what you're saying, but truly, honestly, it just makes me lose even more interest in relationships and definitely makes me lose more hope in life and my relationship. Wether I believe what you're saying, or not, it gives me no hope o…

Because it has to do with my post. Maybe read it again? I'm not answering random questions about my GID (just questions that somehow relate to my post,) idk how to be more clear tbh

I like that. Also like your tagline. I did mean more along the lines of, well is this just me getting in my head and distorting the relationship? Or is it just me sensing that this relationship is unhealthy? Despite the thigs I say, it's really hard to trust my own judgement. I've been diagnosed with BPD a long time ago and have found it very hard not to question if things are in my head, or reality... Even when logic and experience and instinct tell me that, yes, the situation I'm in is bad.

I really, really don't want to believe that, childishly, I really just want to go back to the time where this wasn't a thing, and I wasn't worried about it or forced to confront it... Which, I know that leaning into that will just perpetuate a cycle where I subdue my mind into a state of willful ignorance and continue on in the relationship as if nothing has happened, then have another mental health crisis... Essentially that's what's been happening, and I probably would be ashamed of it but I'v…

(I'm not going to argue about me being a woman, it would be pretty pointless, you have your beliefs and views exp and I have mines- so I'm just leaving this here so as to be clear to anyone who reads this that I am not, in fact, identifying as being a woman here or anywhere else on this post)

Yeah the ol gut usually tells the truth 🥲 I just have to know what truth, although maybe I overanalyze some things to the point of them becoming gibberish...

I've tried the whole "molding myself to fit someone else's life" thing and all it did was kill me inside until I snapped and ended the relationship. If that's how it's supposed to be, either I'm not a woman, or I'm not meant for a relationship with a man, or both. I've seen growth together between me and another person, a man, that doesn't involve me molding myself to fit his worldview, but involves both of us respecting each other enough to not hurt the other person and also learning about each…

I really love this guy, but I feel like I jumped the gun somehow. Maybe we're not compatible. But , I don't want to give up, I don't want to be with anyone else. I'm not even interested in getting laid or casual dating, it's just not me. Maybe I'm just not meant for relationships. Idk. I've been through so much in long-term relationships that, if this one ends, I won't be making the mistake of getting into one again, despite all these older women telling me to stick it out and keep trying, or th…

Right, that makes sense. Most of the relationships I've been in, I have had similar issues, however I always entered them with conversations about my gender identity and my partners seemed to be fone with it, only later turning around and admitting that they either didn't understand it and just said they did, or, once that he just didn't want to be with someone who wasn't a woman. This relationship is different for a few reasons that would take a long time to explain, but generally it's just tha…

Finally someone agrees with me, this whole pronoun thing is utterly obnoxious; she? He? Sounds like garbage to me, I think we should all just be called rain-b/rainbow/rainbows and get on with it 🤡

True. Maybe he just thinks fighting is sexy. Jk lol But uh, maybe... No but in reality I don't want to character assassinate. He's a really good person... Most of the time.. which is why this stuff is shocking to me.. even though it happens constantly, the good seems to outweigh the bad, but the bad is um.. just, bad. I will do, (proceed with caution). Ty.

This whole thing might make me sound stupid but, in truth I'm very, very exhausted. Even trying to keep on a mask of emotional neutrality is hard af atm.

Oh, as far as criticism goes it feels very randomized. As in, he'll interrupt me constantly, and when I interrupt him it's suddenly different and he gets to show anger. Or, he'll interrupt me when I'm answering a question he asked. The interruption usually is something that sounds super harmless and unintentional like, for example, "the light's still on, usually the light is off" and I'll say something like, "Oh, do you want me to turn them off?" And he'll get angry at me with something like, "Y…

So, probs should've explained more in the original post, that's def on me. I get the sense that either he has very random mood switches, or it's some form of manipulation. He'll compliment me/make me feel good, then that mood will turn quickly into harsh criticisms of me/my character, or into backhanded compliments about how I dress or how much I weigh. Or he'll give me a compliment like, "You're a beautiful GIRL! Oh, or is that offensive? Guy? Boy? Sorry, I don't want to start an argument with …

You can't say you have the same standards for yourself and the women you date in the same paragraph as describing different standards for yourself and the women you date and not come off as a little disillusioned

No offense is meant by this at all, but if you're looking to get married through a dating app, you should know that people (like 95% of people) are not looking for a real relationship or anything long-term on dating apps. People explicitly go there the majority of the time for quick hookups or because they haven't dated irl before/in a while and want everything to work out fairytale style. I think you'd have better luck in other avenues perhaps

I think the majority of women go through the "personality doesn't make up for looks" experience themselves when trying to date men. I mean, men don't wear makeup to cover their acne or try to hide their wrinkles or double chins with concealer most of the time, just saying. That is just a deep expression of the superficiality we are stuck with as a society that doesn't look much deeper than skin, especially in the beginning of a relationship.. of course anyone can grow with someone and learn abou…
