Ah ok, then it’s probably just your body. Not all women are responsive unfortunately. Have you ever tried getting off on your own? I don’t know if your husband would be offended, but you can learn a lot about your body.

I understand your viewpoint but I do not think this is better at all. When you sell yourself you can’t allow standards or connection. In my friend groups there was a certain degree of vulnerability, kindness, and self discovery in our hookups. I do think casual sex can have adverse effects for a lot of women, but the solution then is to avoid it, not sell it.

I always find the ‘you better settle down because no man wants a woman after 30’ thing such a trip. Why would I want to be stuck with a guy who doesn’t want me?

Could this be due to religious upbringing or shame around sex? Or is it a physiological thing?

Some of those women are using access to wealth to boost their influencer careers. Like getting to take pictures at fancy parties and on yachts. Sometimes they’re invited just because they’re hot, but being a kind of sugar baby makes it easier. It’s just a very different world. Millenials had a lot of sex, but it was a lot more egalitarian and less commercial

I think it’s one thing if she desired and chose that, but if she was pressured into by family or religion, or if she ended up groomed by an older guy, it’s going to feel like something was taken from you,

Kudos on you for realizing who you are not wanting to be a fake version of yourself. That shows a lot of self-respect. You know who you are and underneath it all you don't WANT to change. You feel bad right now, but it seems like you really do like the person you are. These feelings will pass as you grow into yourself. Liking and respecting who you are is attractive, and when you get over this bump, you'll find it easier. Also, the Red Pill never takes into account that women's tastes are EXTREM…

This is amazing. Though I will say, since discovering Gamergate, I have also met many wonderful, thoughtful men who play and talk about video games. And are willing to discuss ALL aspects of them. If you really love games, you should review them as art. The McElroy brothers from Polygon are my current favorites, though they tend to be more absurd.

I do believe it's mostly biological (with a HUGE variance based on the individual) but let's also not forget upbringing. Women are usually rewarded from a young age for being kind and giving, and in many cultures are expected to serve men and their elders from a young age. Cultural factors and mixed expectations can also contribute to feelings of shame- girls' self esteem drops dramatically with the onset of puberty, and they start judge themselves based on their looks more than their abilities.…

The dark side of female nature was a staple since films began. "Vamps" short for vampires, beautiful women would 'suck the life' out of a man were a staple in film. A film would usually have a hero, a vamp or villian, and a 'good girl,' and that's what moviegoers expected. There's an German sound film called the 'Blue Angel' where a woman seduces and ruins a prep school teacher - no motivation at all- he'd old and unattractive and has no money- except spite and because it was funny to her.

facing responsibilities they don't make handbooks for Wow, it's been months since that discussion but that resonates with me so deeply at this point. I am the kind of person who looks on Quora (previously Yahoo Answers- DON'T GO THERE the stupidity is contagious), or would just google whatever problem I had. And sometimes- there's no answer. I have found some help in certain subreddits on health, depression etc, as no problem is truly unique. But there is a certain desperation to find not exactl…

I'm glad you were able to work out your friendship. Remember there are more people who will work out, and are interested in you, so it's disparaging to a good friendship and even to yourself to describe yourself as in the 'friendzone' as though the friendship is worthless, and you failed by getting to that point. And I know exactly what those terms mean. :( Sadly, I know RP lingo all too well. I just find them creepy and demeaning, so my bafflement was more along the lines of 'who thinks like th…

Sorry to nitpick, but 3rd wave is very different from second wave (sex positive, acceptance of women's choices to be homemakers or like girly things like makeup and heels, much more accepting of porn, etc. Pop feminism very much springs from this, but it manifests itself in several different ways), and especially Greer, who has been under fire lately for hating on Trans people. Greer was too much of a hardliner to be taken up by Pop Feminism, which often appears in Cosmo and the like. And I thin…

If you want to be her friend, perhaps you shouldn't say you are 'friendzoning' yourself. Either it's too hard to be her friend because you are too attached to her and you should back away, or you should be happy that you have this friend. Friends are good things, friends should increase your happiness, and not drain it. It you are only hanging around because you like her, you are not her friend. Also, your friends are also allowed to have other friends, whether they be hot, ugly, gay, conservati…

I think it depends on the woman- hell it depends on the person. Very few people who are not depressed can fully understand depression, and you have to forgive them or you'll get really, really bitter. It's something that's beyond comprehension if you don't have it. I have been bitter, after listening to others' problems, about the blank look of confusion on their face when I discuss mine, but it's something you must rise above. It is a very kind and empathetic person indeed who can sit with you …

ummm...I certainly don't agree with that stuff. I have seen it and it's dehumanizing. Why would you assume I think that's ok? Our culture may find it 'cute' but it certainly isn't. I also don't agree with women slapping men, and cringe when I see it in popular media as it's sexist to both women and men. It made sense when women were perceived fragile flowers who weren't permitted to stand up for themselves using words, but in an equal society abuse of any kind is unacceptable. I also strongly ar…

Wait, I thought we were all about status and dominant behavior and Alpha cocks and all that shit (with the circle jerking message abounding that girls in their late teens are SUPER into abusive 40 somethings) and men were into looks? "Swatting down her "shit tests" as they call them is a very critical tool to have in your toolkit of dealing with the typical modern woman." Like training your dog. Not anti-woman my ass. Are you even allowed to promote your ideology on this subreddit?

Well, first off, the focus on manipulation. That women are natural manipulators and men must manipulate back to be successful. I hate manipulative people and can see through them and find it disgusting. I personal avoid it, and so the idea that it's just intrinsic to me is gross. It's playing games, but never, ever stopping, and purposely making your partner uncomfortable and stressed so that you can retain control, which is a textbook emotional abuse. I value honestly in all relationships, so e…

This is very good advice. Thank you. Would you consider 25 a young guy? That was how old he was when he was into this stuff. Because I sort of see it as too old to be considering this kind of thing, but I do know people develop in different ways. I have high self esteem even when bad things happen to me, but he says he struggled with confidence, so that also may be a factor in my not understanding. Also he was in two long term relationships, which could have limited his experience with women. Sa…
