I know he said to consider eliminating carbs but don't. You don't need to do that, but eating healthier and exercising is a must. Go online and see if you can find out what your TDEE is, also go to subreddits like /r/fitness, and /r/weightroom they have a bunch of resources

Get fit, exercise regularly, dress well (clothes that fit), expand your social circle and have meaningful interactions with those around. Work on yourself every day, make sure you value yourself to the point where anyone who doesn't value you isn't worth your time. Have a number of hobbies that you enjoy and all of these things will come. As for your specific game with the ladies I can't say because you didn't expand on that but these are some good things to consider.
