Since the foreskin of a newborn is fused to the glans, there is no "under", it's like the skin on your fingers. That means your hygiene concern will be irrelevant for several years after birth. Regardless of your opinion on abortion, Roe v. Wade was a farce, and state lawmakers can do better. In addition to being based on a false rape claim, the defense never actually brought up the woman's right to control her own body, only the woman's right to privacy and the doctor's right to practice medicine. So basically the entire premise of the pro-choice movement is disconnected from the legal reason why Roe v. Wade passed, and might not even be a constitutional right.

The vast majority of American parents who choose routine infant circumcision are Christian or secular, so they aren't motivated by religion, but by ignorance and peer pressure. To me the circumstances of conception are irrelevant, because they don't make the baby any more or less human and they don't change the mother's rights to her body. Either abortion is morally, but not legally, wrong except in rare cases of self-defense, or it's always okay even if you deliberately get pregnant for the sole purpose of aborting as many babies as possible. I'm curious as to how you can take a stance between those two extremes.

My mistake, you're apparently advocating for destroying the universe to prevent all future suffering.
