1	Interesting The dropout of the American father began much earlier, post WWII... The evil of wars these generations fought opened the hearts of men to a darkness they could not shake. This darkness emotionally disconnected a whole generation of children from their fathers. 1	Interesting I see your argument, but put simply men must live up to a higher standard that has been left by the wayside. A higher standard only other men and fathers can impart. The bad father/no father epidemic is a major reason behind the wounds men have deep within them. It's a wound that surfaces in mental health and identity. Too many generations have been let down. 0	"Toxic" masculinity? Kids say otherwise. We would argue that men and women have abandoned the Biblical standard of marriage. Too many pregnancies are conceived outside of the marriage covenant. A covenant that because of the high standard of protector and provider, men are not taking seriously. In times gone by, men understood (because it was taught to them by fathers and grandfathers) that they should have their house in order before procreating. -1	Apparently we're the cause of unwanted pregnancy too. Since, apparently, all women lack the ability to buy condoms, or ya know, are obviously too innocent and pure to like sex without one. Over 60% of abortions are to women who claim Christianity. Given natural law theory, it would follow that most of those women are seeing men that claim to be Christian. Our issue with this is men that claim Christianity. It's very rare to see Christian men assume even partial responsibility given that 90% of abortions are performed on unwed mothers. That means that Christian men are having sex outside the marriage covenant.
