personally i think if the date went good and there is intention of a second date Do you explicitly tell the guy before the check comes that you want a second date? If not, how is he supposed to know? It’s very common for Men to think a date went well and there will be a second, only for the woman to text them later that they weren’t feeling it

So she found the MRP sub, and then read enough anonymous OYS posts to identify you? That seems a bit far fetched, don’t you think?

Unsure of whether he's invested in the relationship I’m confused, because you said: He is a good man, makes time for us, texts daily, supportive of my career, makes me laugh, affectionate, has done favors for me around my house that were pretty intensive, incredibly observant, family man That sounds pretty damn invested to me

Bringing up that conversation, especially when he’s already stressed with work, would be a huge turn off

Like another person commented, there are tons of women who go on dating apps just for validation — eg get matches, have guys flirt with them/ask them out — with zero intention of ever going on a date. So when a guy is messaging a woman and she’s not really being flirty/clearly interested, he’s gonna assume she’s not serious about finding someone. But yes you have the right mindset, just gotta keep practicing even if it is uncomfortable at first. Also you can’t deactivate your account in a week o…

Im absolutely not flirty because it feels awkward for me. Why would a guy on a dating app try to continue a convo or ask you out if you’re not giving any flirtatious vibes? He’s just going to assume you’re uninterested and move on

Well, my point was men don’t value women making their life easier, or better That’s not true at all

OP doesn’t even have to keep tabs, his wife tells him every time she goes on a date with the coworker

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
