I mean its to each their own, but if you’re gonna sit it out and not work towards bettering anything than you better shut the fuck up about things sucking. Like yeah, the building shouldn’t be on fire in the first place, but no ones gonna give a shit if you get burned if you refuse to leave.

Theres probably a few reasons but theres also just a lot of really shitty pastors. My brother got married a church he had attended every weekend for almost 4 years, same pastor the whole time, knew each other on a first name basis. What was the pastors speech during the wedding about? Abortion, divorce, concentration camps, if you don’t pray the hail mary together every morning your marriage will fail, marriage isn’t about love, it’s about the reproduction and education of children… oh yeah and …

You are also assuming the opposite though by immediately jumping to the conclusion they are abusing him. It could be his first offense or his sixth or even his thirtieth, we don’t have the information so we are required to make these assumptions. Also, on social media I’ve seen/read about this punishment more for girls and I’ve seen overwhelming agreement for it in those situations as well. Some links to a similar situation but with a young girl: Tik tok about it (Comments are in agreement with …

Thats not necessarily true. A kid behaving poorly isn’t necessarily because the parents are failing at their job. Kids will do crazy stuff when pressured by peers, especially if they think it won’t make it back to their parents. Not to mention if the kid really doesn’t care that the victim is undergoing cancer treatment, no amount of forcing them to watch documentaries or visiting cancer hospitals is going to help them. Those routes require the kid to go in with an open mind. I don’t think you s…

Punishment is fine. He will go to school and face similar ridicule he has giving. There’s no better way to learn what it’s like being on the other side than living it. Boy or girl, I feel it’s a valid punishment. Maybe not as a first step, but if you can’t get through to your kid then sometimes drastic action is necessary. Publicizing the punishment on social media is kinda gross.

I find it hard to believe shaming someone isn’t a malicious act. I can see it being a subconscious act because women may be wired to just do it instinctively. But saying things to make a person feel bad (or like a creep), and throwing accusations that could ruin their life is malicious in every meaning of the word. All it takes to ruin a man’s career is a single false report. Even if it gets proven to be a lie later most of the time the news has hit enough ears to follow him the rest of his life…

The best way to win a losing argument is by changing the argument.

I would like to mention that the U.S. Womens team took to court for equal pay and it turned out that while they got less in actual payout to the players there was substantially more investment to the womens league than the mens. That and they were offered the same deal as the mens and specifically rejected it for the current one they have now.

I’m trying to figure out where she say’s that she shouldn’t have been fired because she was pregnant. The google employee in question said nothing of the sort, and has a right to be upset she lost her job right before she goes through such a life changing experience, not to mention expensive. As for favor towards women that are pregnant, I’m fairly confident that it should be a thing and it should be for their husbands. We should do our best to ensure that people who are going to have children a…

I never meant to imply there wasn’t a biological difference between men and women, and I apologize if it has come across that way. What I’ve been trying to say is that making a standard lower makes it easier to achieve. If the standard is to run a mile in 8 minutes but then gets increased to 9 minutes, that is objectively easier to obtain regardless of gender or age. It may still be hard for some people but just because its hard doesn’t mean it’s wrong/unfair and needs to be adjusted. What is un…

If a man and woman of the same height and weight are tested and the woman doesn’t need to perform as well to be able to qualify, then her requirements are lower and as a result are easier to achieve. Thats not incorrect in any way. Admittedly expecting a 70 year old man of the same height and weight to perform as well as 20-30 year old would be wrong although allowing a post-retirement aged person unless they are outstandingly fit for their age serve in the armed forces brings a whole new set of…

Not everyone does but by enlisting within damn near any part of the armed forces, you have the possibility of being deployed. You need to be ready for that possibility or you are a liability, simple as that. As for bigger people, their size should be taken into account when being deployed and split into units. Putting a 250 lb person with a 150 lb and expecting them to be able to carry them is absurd. As some else has said majority of the fitness tests are relative to your body weight and not a …

If that man can be deployed and other peoples lives depend on his ability to do so then yes. It is quite common for military JAGs to be deployed into areas where combat is possible. Why would anyone want to serve next to someone who couldn’t save their life if it came down to it. I would never put my life in the hands of someone who cannot possibly save it and we cannot put other peoples lives into those hands either

Im not sure if I missed something in the linked article but there is no mention of any actual abuse. It states that he said living with her has become unbearable, and that he couldn’t stand it. No reports of any physical harm to the man, and no mention of verbal, mental or emotional abuse either. While it sucks that whatever is happening is that bad for him, jumping to the conclusion that she is abusive isn’t appropriate. Until there is some mention of it then this is no better than the false ac…

Honestly, to the man hating problem I’ve been ignoring now. I know that it makes me no better than the people who actively participate in it but I’m just tired of trying to get people to understand just how bad what they are saying sounds. As to the underaged females in clubs and drunk guys bringing them home, I feel both are at fault. The girls aren’t supposed to be there BUT where I’m from (and I’m not aware if it changes from state to state) the law states that intoxicated are unable to give …
