Yep, even men don't trust other men. My male relatives and friends that cared about me were the first ones to warn me about the nature of men and how to avoid the toxic and dangerous ones.

It's true, everytime I read into these subreddits I just cringe at how it makes dating look so parasitic from both ends. Each side just trying to take from and use the other through mind games and fights for power in the relationship. Makes it look pointless to even pursue connection because of all the distrust, fear and manipulation. Personally I don't like being sexualized by people I don't know or don't have a mutual attraction to, so I've had to dress as plain and ugly as possible in public to purposely be invisible and divert unwanted attention. I had one friend shave her hair off so guys leave her alone. All the clothes I thought of as stylish and fun were always being misinterpreted as a message/invitation for lust, when honestly I really just like dressing nice or experimenting with looks.
