It got roughly 60 upvotes in 2 hours, so clearly people feel it’s relevant. The tweet is an emotional reaction, this post is a discussion about misandry and how prevalent it is. Remove the misandry tag, if you don’t want people posting examples of misandry.

Doubting it’s believability is problematic, because if someone doesn’t believe this (literal video proof) - what can someone believe? It’s a class 2 misdemeanor to impersonate a transportation network company driver, and many of his videos are mundane. His videos aren’t viral hits (most are under 10K), so there’s no real motive to fabricate these videos for money.

I feel like saying “women do it too”, doesn’t seem to hold water on the internet, because people sincerely don’t believe it. So here’s a video, of what I would consider fairly explicit behavior. Keep in mind, this man is literally just working - and they are two complete strangers. Brief: She climbs in the front seat and touches his genitals. All within the span of a 15-30 min car ride.

This video is a good example, of a woman committing blatant sexual misconduct on video, and completely getting away with it. She’s doing this to a complete stranger; someone who’s literally just doing his job. (Brief: a woman climbs in the front seat of her Uber, and starts touching her driver’s genitals.) https://youtu.be/v8_P5cnivGQ

To me, it wasn’t even necessary to include the rest of the thread. The first sentence was enough to make my jaw drop. Stuff like this is getting out of hand. Not only is this outright stupid, but women are not perfectly benign by default; many do the same things men do, but with absolute social impunity. I’ve seen women (not all women) touch attractive men unwarranted all the time - things that a guy could never get away with.

A lot of human behavior isn’t gender based. Inappropriate touching being exclusively associated with men, is a serious issue that creates superstition and bias, that wouldn’t exist if viewed under a gender neutral framework. As the video shows, moments like these are common enough to be caught on camera - and this is a rather bizarre circumstance. Tons goes undocumented or shrugged away.

What I mean to specify, is that Incel communities get banned on Reddit; regardless of their intentions or rhetoric. Once this sub is categorized as such, it may get banned.

Incel communities get banned. It could happen to this sub - and that’s troubling. Not sure what could be done about that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
