I don't see porn as much of a problem, women watch it as much (possibly even more) than men, but they don't obsess over it. Your points about socializing and social skills make some sense though, a lot of guys seem so defeatist that they will focus on one downfall instead of getting up and trying again. The biggest problem IMO is that these desperate men are giving into the shaming/stigma of being perceived as losers and dwell on it, becoming unsociable. Or it could be they don't realize they do…

The fact that you would go out of your way to say this like all men are some sort of hyper sexual hive mind shows how gender means nothing

I'd never date someone I view as ugly because no matter how nice/caring/kind they are, I'd feel gross from the thought of doing anything sexual with them. I'd just be a friend, so i cant relate but i get the virtuous idea where you're coming from. Idk if its really because of shallowness because my attraction to people isnt based on western beauty standards, its mainly my biological responses to them (some people who others would call a 7 could be a 10 to me).

Why does being shallow even matter? Everyone has different sexual preferences so judging someone for who they want to have sex with is pretentious, irrelevant and says a lot about that persons unhealthy inability to accept viewpoints that are different and outside of their personal echo chamber

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
