My guess is this is a style thing, that there are some styles that work better if you do one and some styles that work better if you do the other and that's why you're seeing both. Personally, I'm pretty much always as straightforward as I can be, and it tends to work.

Woah, I thought I was the only one with that fantasy-land.

This isn't necessarily true -- a lot of rad fems despise MtF transsexuals.

So we continue mackin and then some people come and call us out and ruin the vibe so she wants to get up and head back to the party. Then the host came in and just made things awkward and wouldn't leave. I was saddened, but I decided to just chill and I left with my friends. Dudes. Don't cockblock. Don't hang out with cockblockers. This shit isn't ok.

and I'm worried because I haven't checked all the sketchy things off my bucket list yet (FMF etc.) I'm currently sitting next to my girlfriend, who I certainly hope will turn out to be a life partner. I'm also looking forward to checking FMF off the bucket list when I've brushed up a bit. might be worth a visit

If the interaction is at this point (calibration, people!) compliments should be sexualized and centered on what (whichever feature you're complimenting) makes you want to do to her.

Seriously, nothing wrong with trying. Old friend from back home is coming up to stay over a few days at my place and have some fun. I mention to her my girlfriend's curious whether she likes girls. She says she does, and we wind up arranging for the three of us to have dinner and see whether the two of them get along. Honesty. Shit ain't hard.

If there's anything that's helped me in pickup, it's this: Hold a sex-positive frame. Sex is fun. It's not something you want to trick out of the girl, it's something fun you have to offer her. Sex is fun, and you have it with lots of people. Nothing wrong with that. Don't let there be anything wrong with that. Mind, if she tells you she's feeling jealous and if you two are at the stage where you're exchanging emotional support and not just orgasms, there's nothing wrong with trying to support h…

I'm torn -- this post wound up full of useful information, but the attitude of the OP definitely deserves a downvote.

I am by no means an expert, but I expect the direct approach loses some of its power if it's not the first thing you try.

I'm pretty sure you're in. She wants you. You could've kissed her when you were comparing heights, but I suspect if you see her again she'll give you more opportunities.

Well, yes actually. She's had about a million guys tell her how hot she is. Seeming unimpressed puts you above them.

I once read that every writer has a million crappy words stored up inside them, and those words just need to be released before good writing can follow. Also that every go player just needs to lose their first hundred games as quickly as possible.
