CMV: Women not wanting to be judged and having terrible judgement are two sides of the same coinMeh, I've found that women who are pretty much halfway between those two extremes have been the most stable. Their thinking seems to be more like: "I don't understand why you'd do that, but I don't hate you for it". The thing about the "Don't judge me" types and the judgemental types is they both concern themselves too much with other people. Imo a healthy, well-adjusted person isn't bothered by people's opinions of them, and doesn't beef with others just because they're different. And that's no… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/23 01:34 PM

Studies saying women are "happier single" than men are extremely misleadingNaaah, there's a lot of flaky women out there. They'll ask you out themselves and then ghost; they'll imagine a whole ass personality for you then ghost you when they realize you aren't the character they'd created in their mind -plus, a lot of young women just don't know what they want and are kinda lost in life (same for dudes) and being "chosen" by them isn't really all that meaningful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/23 10:11 PM
What do you think of the notion that Men get friend zoned and Woman get sex zoned?Naaah, the friend zone can be pretty sinister for dudes too. A lot of women keep a bunch of guys in their orbit just for the validation and attention and egg them on to keep the attention flowing. It can really fuck with your mind, just like being gaslight about the sex thing can be. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/04/23 04:47 PM
Men don’t care about women’s career?(Traditionally) Men generally don't ascribe much importance to a woman's career when it comes to dating. I, for instance, would not have a preference between dating a woman who's an engineer, one who's a nurse, and one who's a barista. It just doesn't enter the equation for attractiveness, to me. Most guys are looking for just a few things in a partner:e.g does she look nice, do we get along, and will she fuck me? "Is she an optometrist???" is not one of these criteria, nor is "robotics engineer… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/03/23 06:53 PM
Why does romance and sexuality come naturally to some people and not others?Dudes are raised to be impassionate rocks that work hard and do serious things. Whether they actually end up that way, that's the archetype most lean towards. Romance, on the other hand, requires a poetic sort of passion, and an expressiveness that men are actively discouraged from during their upbringing. The guys who learn that stuff either had parents teach them those things or otherwise facilitate it, or they've just learned how to act in order to get laid. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/03/23 03:31 AM
Adults of PPD, do you have friends who just can't get a relationship despite being good potential partners?Of my dude friends who fit the bill, most are depressed, losers, and/or just not on the market. I don't think most of them want to change, which is a shame. My woman friends who can't get relationships tend to be more complicated, but probably the most common traits are pickiness and mild Cluster-B tendencies. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/23 03:33 AM
What do you think has lead to a decline in men "putting themselves out there"?I would mostly attribute it to the general decrease in irl social interaction -and increase in social anxiety- among...everyone. It was a big factor for me; I was a pretty reclusive kid, so I just wasn't comfortable hanging out with anyone until I was nearly in my mid-twenties. The prospect of asking out a crush was mortifying. I don't think this is as much of a factor, but I think people are aware how much their actions can follow them, nowadays. That probably deters men from putting themselves… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/02/23 11:04 PM
It is OBVIOUS why there is not a body positivity movement for both gendersYou've flaired this as a CMV. Why do you want your view changed on this, and what would change your mind? None of your claims can be substantiated, but I will say your characterisations of how men work will likely run counter to most men's actual experience. By far, it is heterosexual women who care most about men's bodies, and feel entitled to judge a man by his body. I'll tell you right now, 99.9999% of dudes really don't care about another man's body, and...I've been big, and I've been lean. … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/02/23 05:56 PM
Why don't more young men learn how to validate their own masculinity instead of always depending on the stimuli of women, other men and society at large? It's a good question, and something I've wondered for a while, and don't have any satisfying answers for. I think part of it is that validation from women is so rare, that when you do get it, it's a very strong signal that you're doing something right, and it's easy to chase that. There may also be an evolutionary bio adaptation involved, as validation from your bros and peers is cool, but validation from a potential mate damn short circuits the male fuckmonkey brain. Indeed, the man's role in t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/02/23 12:48 AM
Who is more successful in dating: conservative/right wing men or liberal/left wing men?I'd wager conservative men do better in conservative areas than liberal men do in liberal areas. I think the men's dating experiences hinge upon the local women's dating preferences, and I'd guess that conservative women have less selective dating preferences. At least in the sense that they may be less comfortable being single forever, and thus more likely to settle. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/02/23 11:56 PM

Sex is the most important aspect of a relationship.I definitely think it makes the relationship more resilient when the sex is copious and top notch, but at what time scale? How have these women's relationships fared at the 15 year mark? It's just life; there will be times when sex carries the health of the relationship, but there will be others when something else has to. If that "something else" is weak, the relationship's gonna bust, 100% of the time. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/02/23 12:24 AM
Sex is the most important aspect of a relationship.Probably not. I do think it's more important than is polite to acknowledge, but I would say having fundamental, core wants in life that are compatible is more important. Ended my last relationship for the lack of that compatibility. She is stunning and the sex was great, but we wanted profoundly different things in life, and neither of us wanted to budge. No amount of sloppy top can convince me to give up on my goals. Next most important thing is finances. If you're a dude, you have to keep your… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/02/23 12:13 AM
Statistics on single women buying properties on their ownI never claimed that men rent to save money, that would be absurd. Just that they often prefer the flexibility of renting early in their career/adulthood. Surely that's not foreign to you? I also didn't say anything about the age 40. Nor am I "excusing" men (excuse from what? What's the wrongdoing?). It seems you're projecting quite a lot of baggage onto my comment. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/02/23 09:41 PM

| -1 | What's the problem with casual age gap relationships? There's just a segment of young women who like to "shop around". They want to fuck all the different types; the hot college athlete, the cute nerd, the bleeding-heart artist, the foreign guy, etc. I can totally see some such women having a curiosity for the older men society tells them to avoid all the time. Aside from that, I'd attribute one or both of two factors to the "elder-inclined" women I know irl: 1.) Daddy issues, and 2.) Attracted to maturity. | 17 | Statistics on single women buying properties on their ownYou have a weird take, but I believe the statistics. The women in my life have been much quicker than the men to buy property once they had the means. I think a few things contribute. First, the men I know don't want to "settle" until late-twenties/early-thirties at the earliest. I think there's wisdom in that, especially since a man's income (not his property) is his greatest asset in the dating market. | 3 | Do men have ANY advantages when it comes to dating? You can make up for a lot, as a dude, with a sense of style and a cool vibe. Conversely, men generally don't particularly care about a woman's style or ambience nearly as much, if at all. We tend to care more about her raw appearance. Good face + good body? I'm in. In no order: Saying they want an emotionally expressive man, but thinking less of him after he begins expressing his emotions, then ultimately leaving him. Dudes need to be okay staying friends with a woman they're attracted to, women need to get used to having dude friends who crush on them, both need to get comfortable with the inverse, etc. I do think it's a bad sign if a dude doesn't have any woman friends, and it's a bad sign if a woman has no dude friends. | 1 | Q4W: Would you want to be a man given the choice?Nah I agree that being physically imposing is an advantage, but it's not the end all be all, there are definitely women who have it, and anyway it takes a lot more than being 6'+ to become president. Most dudes aren't tall or imposing, they have to learn how to command attention and respect. It's a fine skill that takes a lot of trial and error, so I hope (and think) you're right that society is shifting in a direction that will encourage the perseverance required for such, in women. | 3 | Q4W: Would you want to be a man given the choice? Most men are not perceived as competent by default, they have to become competent and learn how to project it. Women are similarly not perceived as competent by default, so they must...become competent and learn how to project it. | 5 | What do men in age gap relationships have to offer the women besides money? This question would be better directed at women tbh. Idk why a sane, young woman would want to date a man so much older, but a few do🤷 A woman might have more insight. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/23 07:46 PM |
The role of men in modern society and how much they actually contribute to women's lives...You assume that people make rational choices. Most women who divorce overestimate their ability to raise kids on their own. This is evidenced by the prevalence of people raised by single moms among the homeless, criminals, disabled, dropouts, and unseccessful. Logically, women wouldn't want these things for their children. But clearly most women who divorce falsely believe that they can do better. So the fact that many women do divorce does not mean that they should divorce. And anyway, usually … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/23 04:04 PM
The role of men in modern society and how much they actually contribute to women's lives...Thus my "happy, healthy" modifier to the word "family". Aside from how miserable raising kids on your own is, one of the worst things you can do to a person is raise them in a single-parent household. Everything from their ability to socialize normally, to their ability to pair-bond healthily, to their level of educational attainment and lifetime earnings is degraded if they are brought up in a single-parent household. | 1 | The role of men in modern society and how much they actually contribute to women's lives...Fair point, but a single person's "normal job" is inadequate for starting a happy, healthy family in our current world (if that's what they want). On that basis alone, your average woman still has a lot to gain from pairing up. Even if we assume the average woman makes as much as the average man, and has as much in savings as the average man (neither of which is the case), she would still be fucked if she lost her income today and needed to make rent, buy food, receive healthcare etc indefinitel… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/01/23 03:12 PM
The role of men in modern society and how much they actually contribute to women's lives...I think there's a lot of truth to this, and I don't know what any outcomes of it may be. Only thing i have to offer is a slight bias correction. These sort of posts tend to pit the archetype of a successful, independent, career woman against that of the loser man. They never focus on the average woman. In reality, women who are so successful that they gain little from pairing up with men are not nearly as common as certain echo chambers of the internet would have you believe. Therefore "success" is not quite the word I would use lol. But here's what I think I can contribute: I'm a pretty traditionally masculine guy. Not the greatest looking, but straightforward, stoic, sober (demeanor-wise), and down to earth. Two of the four women asked me out, one of whom was a stranger. I believe they have moderate mental illnesses (much like dude incels), but they are all very unfortunate looking, have reputations for being gross, and come off as kind of socially desperate. How many of you actually discuss in detail what you're looking for from a partner with people you are dating?Well, that's just apologizing tbh, and that's pretty different from the dude setting his expectations from the woman, as your OP would apply to me. But I think I get what you mean; communicating well through any challenges, even early in a relationship. I mean again, I'd say it depends on stage of life and what the dude wants to gain from it. | 1 | Question for all. How many of you actually discuss in detail what you're looking for from a partner with people you are dating?Yeah, if you're young and a dude, coming into a relationship with demands and boundaries and all that healthy shit is a quick way for women to drop you, and then you have no experience. At that stage in life, I think your average guy should just use whatever relationships he can get to learn how to be as good a partner he can be. Wait until later in life when women get more serious and can recognize your value as a partner to start talking about this sort of stuff early on. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/01/23 07:54 PM

The scenario you presented aligns with RP-type dudes, but for every one of them, there's another who disagrees. You can't characterize men as a whole from this sub; its goal is not to build consensus, but to challenge ideas (at least in spirit) 2) Guarantee you most guys here aren't boasting about "sleeping with all sorts of women", let alone actually doing it. Tbh I think it's like most things that happens in a friend group; kinda glad to heat the news, but it's not groundbreaking so they don't usually make much fanfare. Typically, though, they want to see pictures of the woman, they ask how we met, and they might ask what she does for a living. When I was younger, I thought I and all my friends would essentially look 20 until we were 40. It's affirmation. That they're beautiful just the way they are, they're the victim and it's others that are wronging them, they shouldn't have to do XY or Z, etc, and it often just ends there. He's looking for women who *don't* constantly have sex with guys. He wants a woman with a low N-count who will also *not* withhold sex for a predetermined period of time. That is not a contradiction, it is absolutely possible for an unpromiscuous woman to not have this 3-month rule that he mentions. There are plenty of women who meet these criteria; most women I know, actually. Why did you think it was contradictory? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/12/22 06:47 PM |
It makes sense for men to care about promiscuity because it is often an indication of a woman’s self-respect, or respect for her partnersI am not insisting that no man does it, just that you shouldn't be surprised to find Man A believe the opposite of Man B on debate sub, and that the existence of claims that oppose each other on a debate sub should not be surprising...because it is a debate sub. | 1 | It makes sense for men to care about promiscuity because it is often an indication of a woman’s self-respect, or respect for her partnersTherefore it must be that the majority of men here hold blatantly self-contradictory views then, right? Could you share the first post you allude to? The one you quote, while an ignorant, asinine argument, is not self-contradictory and does not slut shame at all. Dude's claiming that early sex is a necessary but not sufficient condition for a man's comittment. He's wrong, but his argument is not at all self-contradictory, and I don't see how it slut shames. | 6 | Is it unethical for men to purposely seek out women with less life and relationship experience than them? Why?Strictly speaking, I don't think so. In practice? I do find it creepy for older dudes to specifically seek out younger women, especially for relationships, and would be critical of their motives. But tbh tbh? I don't care. The internet pop culture narrative is that those guys are all predators and they must be deliberately preying off these young clueless women and also abusing them btw and yada yada. I know in my podunk hick hometown women didn't give a fuck about a dude's shoulder-to-waist ratio or facial aesthetics. Seemed like they really liked the idea of a husky, hard working, conservative provider type dude. So some absolutely dogfaced, ugly, fat dudes married beautiful, petite women. I 1000% don't care what she looks like, her first two points alone are what would turn me off to a relationship with her. I've broken things off with very conventionally attractive women because they just aren't available for dates and intimacy. I've simped hard for, and fought tooth and nail to fix, a damaged relationship with a very average looking GF because she just had it all; good p… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/22 11:19 PM
Single women, WITHOUT BLAMING MEN, why can you not get / keep a man? There's more to a person and relationship than looks, and if looks are the only thing "special" you offer a partner, then you legit have a problem. What is the implication, here, that only attractive people can be special? Most guys don't think that way. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/22 09:57 PM
Where do you recommend meeting women?Gonna be honest, I've had vastly better luck and better quality dates on the apps. But even then, your first paragraph describes every one of my exes and all but like one or two of women in my friend group as well as the vast majority of women I know. | 12 | Where do you recommend meeting women?Irl stuff has a worse ROI in my opinion. People romanticize the bar scene/school/clubs/etc but you have to invest many fuck tons of time (not to mention money) into them before finding any success, and even then you're usually not banging a new chick every week. More like every month or two at most, for average dudes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/12/22 08:18 PM
Do religious men have an easier time finding relationships than non-religious men?Tbh most non-religious people are still pretty milquetoast conventional, women included. Every woman I've dated has been firmly atheist but still pretty traditional; they've all been monogamous, only interested in serious LTRs, want kids, super career oriented and want the same in their tall, HGTV husband. I think the absurdly loud minority of non-tradcon women on the internet might be skewing OP's perception. As for why? Well it's the path of least resistance. There's a small segment of dudes who get off on banging really young women, but nah fuck that. People that young usually aren't remotely prepared to be lasting, loving partners; are almost universally bad in bed; can barely/cannot take care of themself; and honestly are still too hyped up on the hormonal shitstorm from puberty that hasn't quite settled down yet. If promiscuity is highly correlated with poor LTR outcomes and non-promiscuity is correlated with generally positive outcomes, then an LTR-minded person with a universe of dating options would be prudent to avoid promiscuous partners. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/12/22 06:31 PM

As corny as it sounds, it's mostly in the mind. Long, teasing foreplay; that naughty feeling of trying something new with your partner...it gets a lot better from here. I don't think that all women are opportunistic leaches and I didn't say as much. I do think that people in general overestimate their graciousness. | 4 | Who in your life is successful with women?Gonna be honest, none. I'm at a very male-skewed engineering school, though, so there aren't any women in most guys' social circles, and anyway most dudes are too stressed for time to deal with dating BS. So having a GF is relatively rare for men here -even the really attractive guys, but of those who do, I'll say they're pretty evenly distributed from 5 to 10 on the conventional attractiveness spectrum, and tbh a lot of them are dating women who are more attractive than them. | -1 | Can the "equal power-dynamic" relationship work? Is it common?People here are talking a lot about 50/50 splits of time and responsibility, but you're asking about power. I think the nominal 50/50 power split is ideal, but (and this strictly my weird nerdy neck-beard conjecture) in practice it would actually render the wife more powerful than the husband. If she doesn't have more power over him, she can't necessarily get what she wants. | 1 | Do you believe there are instances where unequal outcomes between genders is due to merit?A critical need for young boys is lots of physical activity. When boys are well-exercised, they are calmer, more focused, and more cooperative. Ye olden universities/predecessor institutions typically devoted an ass load of time to sport and labor, so in that way, those institutions were better suited for boys' needs. The Prussian model marked a drastic departure from both of those outlets for physical activity, ultimately leading to the system we generally use in the US, today. | 2 | Do you believe there are instances where unequal outcomes between genders is due to merit? The system was mostly designed by men, but foundational studies in childhood pedagogy used girls as test subjects for experimental curricula and teaching techniques, because young girls are more cooperative, calmer; easier test subjects. The results were then generalized to all children. Nowadays, we acknowledge that young boys and girls have different educational demands, but unfortunately the current methods and structures are optimized for young girls, and have been for quite a long time. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/12/22 11:09 PM |

I know that in most families I grew up around, the dads were more efficacious and strong-willed than the moms, so most of the discipline and life-prep parenting came from the dads. This was definitely the case in my family; my mom can't do shit on her own, as she wasn't raised to be an effective, hard worker like my dad was. | 3 | Men are becoming less masculine and women are to blameI think this "talk about your worries or you might kill yourself!" meme has stayed past its welcome, tbh. Women attempt at the same rate despite being more communicative about these things, generally having larger social networks, and being more open to therapy and other forms of psychological treatment. There is a tiny sliver of women who feel empowered to be single, but the vast vast vaaaaaaaast majority of normie women are mortified of being single. It's really toxic. I had a social life but it was with coworkers and a small group of students, so it always felt super high risk to ask any of them out. | 4 | N-count and F-countThis whole post is indicative of someone who has spent too much time on the internet. Nobody gives a shit about how many times someone had sex with their previous partner. | 10 | Women should lie about their N-countThere are many good reasons to ask, if one cares about the following: Promiscuity is heavily correlated with infidelity. It's just a trend and everyone is different, but one's propensity to cheat is generally proportional to the number of sexual partners they've had. That may be concerning to guys who are looking for a more traditional, committed relationship. | 1 | Do men love women more than women love men or do men just follow and get pushed into these ideals? The combined work argument just isn't compelling. | 5 | If you were to live with a boyfriend or husband who earns significantly more than you, how would you feel about splitting living expenses 50/50?Sounds like financial merging is a consequence of marriage, but does not constitute marriage in and of itself. But that's nitpicky. I was referring to the "everything goes in a joint account" arrangement. But I don't think it's controversial to say that guys who are short and/or not white will have to put in more legwork to be top 20% tbh. Depending on their particular circumstances, "just become T20" may not be practically feasible advice or the most efficient way to find more success imo. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/22 05:11 PM |
Men would be better off having female friendsYeah people can be annoying, that's a universal experience. Your mentioning your husband in an off hand way is a very socially mature thing to do. If you just abruptly said "I'm married!" seemingly out of the blue to a guy who was being friendly, that would be more indicative of a level of social maturity more commonly found among 12 year olds. And again -the dude wasn't trying to smash, he was legitimately just trying to be friends. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/22 04:54 PM
Sure women want the top 20% of men but is it really that hard to be in that 20 percent of men? ~70% are obese/ overweightYeah there are some shitty unspoken genetic assumptions made about what "Top 20%" means. Namely "tall and white". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/22 04:22 PM
Men are projecting when they try and scare women by the "cat lady" and "die alone" tropeYep, the majority of women are pretty conventional in their life wants and goals. The unconventional ones just get more publicity so they seem more prevalent. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/22 04:10 PM
Men would be better off having female friendsRegardless of the dude's intent, it's presumptuous and egotistical and not exactly a sign of an awesome person to equate [dude being friendly] to [dude's coming on to me] so inelegantly. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/22 03:26 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowTo begin: Additionally, this is Reddit, not a debate panel I will ask you to look up at the name of this subreddit. Moving on. Equating loneliness to sexlessness or romancelessness is not logical. I'm not equating them, I'm grouping them to consolidate the myriad conditions that are under debate. If I wanted to be more precise, I could call it a "lack of non-platonic relationships". Nobody dies from lack of sex. Someone experiencing suicidal thoughts and depression is not going to be cured o… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 11:24 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowI don't accept this answer because my question is about logic, not suicide or depression. To try again: How could you judge as important one issue that affects a miniscule percentage of the population (suicide, in this case), yet say that another issue is unimportant on the grounds that it affects a miniscule percentage of the population (loneliness/sexliness/romancelessness)? You've fixated on suicide because I introduced it as a logical counterpoint, but I could have just as well pointed to di… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 10:24 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowThis doesn't answer my question, and I'm beginning to think intentionally so. | 1 | A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowYou don't seem to be following. I'm not introducing suicide as a new topic to consider. I brought it up as a counterexample to every principle you've introduced, by which you judge loneliness a non-issue. It is a miniscule phenomenon in rate, absolute occurrence, and it is "optional". By the standards you put forth, it should be treated as a non-issue; it's clearly not a "grave concern". But you know it is, as do most people. If you accept that suicide is a serious issue worthy of institutional … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 09:22 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowWhy is suicide a cause for concern? During 2021, in the USA, 1.4 hundredths of a percent of deaths were by suicide. In other contexts, 0.014% would be rounded to zero, it's such an insignificant number. By your logic, we should sweep that under the rug. It's clearly a non-issue, and anyway it's "optional", right? For reasons spanning the pretty basic idea that human life is valuable, that human happiness is valuable, that misery should be minimized and has real negative consequences for a popula… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 08:43 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowYou're making too many assumptions, here. First, you're equating the optionality of something with its importance. I don't think that's the case. Just because something is optional, does not mean it's unimportant, or not as big of a deal as non-optional things. It's a bit childish to think "if it was important there'd be laws about it or something". It is always optional for people carrying STIs, for example, to use protection. You can't force them to, either. But you would agree that a growing … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 03:42 PM
A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowThis notion of yours that, in fact, the best way to deal with romantic dissatisfaction is to do anything but improve romantic satisfaction is bizarre. Is your response for other reliable sources of upset just "deal with it and work on everything else"? Like crime, should we encourage victims of crime to accept their misfortune and find other ways to be happy? Not intervene at all? Not even a little? Or poor health? | 4 | A vocal minority is not enough to explain the explosion of the manosphere and other dating related content, things are truly different nowIf people were giving up on dating for humanitarian reasons, then I'd agree it's not really an issue that deserves much bandwidth. But people are giving up on dating out of a sense of failure; a failure of their most basic biological imperative. That has undeniable effects on mental health, and for that reason is actually quite tragic and alarming. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/10/22 06:50 AM

Q4W: What are nice guys missingWell, what I mean by "erotic energy" is just that his behavior alludes to sex. So think about all the ways of flirting and escalating you see brought up in the manosphere: lingering eye contact, getting close, light touching, etc. Those behaviors allude to sex -the optical fixation, the closeness, the intimate contact- that's why they're erotic. Separately, how are you going to recite my same goddam message back to me and say I'm the one missing the point? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/10/22 09:07 AM
Why should immuteable traits in a man be given a free pass just because they're immutable? Not at all? You have no inkling what possible sentiment they're referencing? Not one clue as to what their general message is? Not even a best guess? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/10/22 09:02 AM
Why should immuteable traits in a man be given a free pass just because they're immutable?Nah, most men have relatively low standards for any relationship. | 18 | Q4W: What are nice guys missingI think the language around this stuff tends to be too imprecise. Nice guys do not exude any erotic energy, that's the distinction. There's plenty of confident men who aren't pulling any, and it's because they come off too platonic, too sterile. It just comes down to how much one's demeanor alludes to sexuality. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/10/22 08:44 AM
How do you guys explain a man getting angry over being ignored? It absolutely is, in the real world. Don't be obtuse. You were never taught that the polite, considerate thing to do when someone addresses you is to ignore them. None of us were. | 2 | Should you show your weaknesses & vulnerabilities to women that you are dating? They are in fact comparable in the ways you say they aren't. The experience of myself and a lot of the dudes here is that their partner gives no indication that they'd drop at the first sign of vulnerability. In fact, quite the opposite. They often say they're in it for the long run, they'll love you unconditionally, etc. But when a hardship arises, they drop as soon as the man starts to show real emotional injury. I think the men here are frustrated because it is a form of manipulation, dishone… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/22 06:31 PM
Women outnumbering Men in college. This is a studied phenomenon, actually. Much of the pedagogical research upon which modern education is premised used girls as the study subjects. Young girls tend to be much calmer and better at following directions than young boys, so researchers chose to study their behaviors and drew conclusions about how children best learn based on that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/22 06:02 PM
You read a lot, online especially, about these so called ''Damaged'' women who chase ''bad'' guys or whatever. I'm curious if there's a term for the opposite of this kind of woman. For example, is there a term describing a self-sufficient woman with no time for BS/a career, etc?Agreed | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/22 05:48 PM
Should you show your weaknesses & vulnerabilities to women that you are dating? This is something that really isn't gendered tbh. People in general suck at acknowledging that their choices are not healthy. See: women dating abusers who any guy could tell you should be dropped immediately. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/22 05:42 PM
Should you show your weaknesses & vulnerabilities to women that you are dating?I really appreciate this comment, thanks. Everything you wrote is true, and it's nice to see some sensible pushback to the gaslighters, here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/07/22 05:13 PM

They're just not a big deal, and not really something that should define one's personality. Assertiveness is something I would expect a mature adult to strike a balance on. Most situations where boundaries come up do not require that much assertiveness. Just a teensy amount of it goes a long way. If someone is overbearing in how they enforce their boundaries, then they're not yet an emotionally mature, well-adjusted adult, and I would stay away. | 0 | True or false, women on this sub are more likely NOT representative of the majority of the population but the men on here AREFalse. Women who regularly post on reddit writ large don't seem to be representative of the average irl woman. Even moreso on this sub; they seem to be really fucking pissy on this sub, for some reason. That said, most men are not pilled/PUA/whatever, and don't devote as much thought and effort to the hunt as the guys here seem to. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/22 07:33 PM |

I get the intent of OP's description, but it does paint a picture of an unstable, pissed off person. Think of men who say shit like "I don't take BS from anyone and god forbid you try to fuck with me". Just really anti-social behavior and kind of cringey. Same with women. If they have such an adversarial view of themselves, men, and the world, they come off as grown children cosplaying as adults imo, rather than actual, mature, well-adjusted, high-EQ ass adults. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/22 07:21 PM |
How important is a man's physique to women?Huge and true. I've had hair...and lost it. I've had great style....and been confused for a homeless man. Of all the differences in attractive features I've experienced, none have had a greater effect than fitness. Didn't matter what the hair/style/whatever situation was; if I was in shape, I got women's attention. If I wasn't, I didn't. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/22 09:51 AM
