That's objectively false. If you look at Amazonian tribes and Nomadic peoples like Mongolians they have a relatively high percentage of body fat, both men and women. You are probably thinking obese. But fat is neccessary for survival. A person with 30% bodyfat is more common in tribal peoples than a person with 13%. The latter would struggle immensely.
