It does make your tastes slightly different, from nonMGTOWs. For example, it would be a safe bet that most MGTOWs wouldn't like a story full of romance, with lots of men simping to women. Fiction is more enjoyable when we can relate to the main character; therefor as a MGTOW, I would prefer that the main male character had some MGTOW qualities about himself.

I really enjoyed your post, but I have one issue with it. Science among other fields of study shouldn't be judged solely on its practical value. Anything that expands our current level of understanding is a good thing. Plus, you can't know for sure what will be practical in the future. You kind of remind me of David Drumlin from Contact.

I love posts like this. I also live my life like this, and I'm loving every minute of it. I just hung out with my best friend, who has two kids and a wife. The poor guy has to work 12 hours seven days a week, just to stay afloat. His kids are always crying, causing trouble, or demanding that he do things for them. I thought to myself, "Why the hell did I ever want to be a family man?"
