I also recommend Self Destruction Made Easy. https://www.amazon.com/Self-Destruction-Made-Easy-Bill-Little/dp/1589804120?ref_=nav_signin& It uses humor and some misdirection to make its points. I found that helpful, since part of my depression was taking everything too seriously. Others may find it useful too.

Comparing yourself to others is wasted time. They have abilities and opportunities you don't. You have abilities and opportunities they don't. Focus on making your life good.

The very first thing she says in the article after "[he] LEFT": "We have separate bank accounts, so I don't have access to any of his money . . ." Not: "He left and I was devastated." "He left and I couldn't understand it." No, it's "He left and I don't have access to his money."

I'll agree that I'm being harsh, and I agree that she probably wishes she made the other decision. Beyond that, no. She had a CEO boyfriend who wanted a family and got along with her parents. Being offered all that, she'd still rather go with a beta orbiter and have fun on another continent. (Try reversing the gender: would most 3-month girlfriends be okay with their new boyfriend travelling for an extended time with an attractive woman? ) What drives some of the anger in this thread is the prob…

[Boyfriend] ''Maybe I'm old fashioned but it's just not normal for a girl to go away alone with a man who is not her boyfriend' She chose a vacation over a CEO husband. "I mean, maybe time would show that we are not at all right for each other OR maybe we would be married in 6 months from now, who the hell knows! What I'm trying to say is (and what I told him) that the most important thing is what we have NOW. " In other words: I'm going to follow my feelings in the moment. If she was sincere ab…

Good for you! Well done, and a great start to adult life. (I say "start", but really, you're more of the way there than most people, me included. Keep on the right path!)

But most women of this vintage can actually get men like this or this. Hey, he is pretty darn cute in his own right. If that's what they're getting, they shouldn't complain!

Men are doing that, so women push for mass immigration.

The only problem with this? They picked the wrong gender. If someone proposed women-only train cars so women would "feel safe", this would be modern, empowering, and fully supported by the media.

"On another note, I guess lifting is starting to pay off." That's the main take-away from this whole thing. Good for you!

I know several men who derive a lot of satisfaction from being a husband and father. Being a good father is a difficult and amazing achievement. TRP truths can help inform that journey. Recognize the nature of men. Recognize the nature of women. Plan/act accordingly. MGTOW is one reaction, nothing wrong with it, but it's not the only way to go.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
