It’s not appropriate to take a photo of other people’s kids without their parents permission, with some exceptions, like if their kid and your kid are together. Did you say to the husband “is it OK if we take a selfie I can share to <wife>?” or did you just assume it was OK?

I’m sorry to hear this. For what it’s worth, no married person I know is like this, as far as I can tell. Maybe there is a reason the people you’ve met are single. It’s unfortunate that so many are so cold and selfish and that you’ve been perhaps unluckily in encountering so many along the way. But there are many millions of good people out there, too.

Millenia of women being treated as inferior to men, decades of men holding far more positions than women as media presenters, and you have a problem with this symbolic way of saying "we'd like to continue moving toward equality and respect the historically marginalized voices of women"? I am a man who subscribes to this sub to learn about actual injustice, when it occurs. This is not that.

I am a man and consider myself a feminist. I also believe there are some cases where men are treated poorly due only to their gender, and like to know about those cases, which is why I subscribe.

I don't really agree with your interpretation of the message. The writer calls it a genocide, which implies condemnation of the killings, and then says that it's also an act of violence against women BY MONSANTO and associated economic elites, not by their husbands.
