Wow, an actual good post from this sub showed up on my feed.

I think engaging in this men vs women debate is a lost cause in the first place. And saying everyone is shitty is a stupid and pointless statement. It doesn't matter how negative you're being as long as you're doing the right thing and have no aversion to the truth. That being said, half the posts from this sub that show up on my feed are submitted by frustrated, egomaniacal, spastic, fucktards and I'll point out from time to time just how asinine their pleas for attention are.

I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm saying there's nothing to it to begin with! I could do this same exact thing in real life and if it's genuine, it'll probably work better than anything else I could do by sitting in my head and getting all mental about a simple human interaction. It doesn't change the fact that you're just getting them to respond to you nonverbally and you're choosing not to treat them like another person in hopes of 'dominating' them with masulinity.

It's called focus. And good job on where you're at.

It's called being a man. Yeah of course if you let the woman know that you want her and you're serious about it will stir something up in her. That's just being human. There's nothing that attracts a woman more than the feeling of being attractive to others. It's empathy 101. And who the hell cares if you've 'field-tested' this you fucking autist? You're not gonna walk up to a beautiful, successful women who is out of your league and start doing what he did cuz you're going to look like a retard…

This is so detestably false and pretentious I want to puke and say goodbye to this insanity.

That's quite a narrow point of view, my friend! Do with that what you will, BUT BE AWARE that people who subscribe to that same expectation are already cut out for that hypergamous game you're clearly afraid of. Last night I went out to the city with friend and a couple of his friends. They are into this PUA silliness but I went along with them to observe and recieve tips and pointers on talking to strangers! I saw how they went after women in dance bars and on the street and wanted nothing to d…

Hell fucking yeah I'll check out a hot girl's ass, but I sure as hell wouldn't have to if I'm holding hands with my fucking girlfriend, man! I imagine a scenario where my partner and I are both aware of the perfecty round, bubble butt walking in front of us and I unironically comment to her and myself that that is quite a nice ass! This kind of openness and security is beautiful and can make her more attracted to me. Not as a man, but as a person.

Haha, no but this is actually great! For conturies we have struggled against women trying to figure out their romantic ways, but in fact it is the other way around! This funny reversal of standards only further convinces me that this "male" rationale is all too similar to women actually are. The sexes are fundamentally different and the points raised by that article are quite good, but flawed. It wrongly takes general standards and stereotypes and doesn't apply them to men the same way it applie…

Fair enough. I strongly disagree partly due to the fact that not even a majority of women are strictly heterosexual. This coupled with the fact that "masculine" things like attitude and look can vary hugely from person to person makes it so your concept is not easily defined. You might as well have said that straight women are attracted to men (who obviously exhibit masculine characteristics). And this does nothing for a deep and personal relationship because we don't share our true love for ano…

TRP is an interesting theory and I am still working it out, but that doesn't mean that it should exist for everbody or even those who don't want it to affect them. If you'll subscribe to this set of standards and ideals and let them control your life as a man, then that's your choice. As for now, it believe it is a narrow, archaeic way of looking at male-femaleness and and extremely misleading one. I doubt you can define any sort of central aspects relating to a man or a woman that strongly affe…

How is it that men can love their partner unconditionally but women cannot? Why can't a man reserve the same love for his children? What if a man does not want the same love you speak of from his mother? This has nothig to do with being alone. Your stance just became silly and I am going to assume that a large part of your opinion comes from the fact that you feel alone and this is your way of coping with that.

Are you suggesting that men and women are different in ways that matter enough to keep them from loving each other? Even in many of those same cases, their love of the opposite sex is what keeps them attracted. That aside, it's not fair to point to tendencies we can observe in the real world. It makes more sense to speak of matters on a person-to-person relationship basis, and understand the stigma that causes this subreddit have an association with masculine person-to-feminine person relationsh…

romantic love between the sexes is merely a function of evolutionary reproduction To view something like romantic love in the context of evolutionary biology makes sense, but only to the degree to which we can draw meaningful conclusions about why "love" might be necessary to our survival. In our time, love as you define it probably isn't necessary to our survival. Your consideration of love seems more like a sophomoric attempt at conflating the necessity of replicating our species DNA with the …

AWALT. Ah. Heh, I see. Anger? No, a bit of confusion and the obvious frustration you'd probably come to assume from each and every sad fucker browisng this sub. So basically, AWALThis and AMALThat, and realizing this will bring you better relationships in life? Unless you decide you aren't cut out for that and/or fail to realize that men and women are more the same than not and that bringing two people together to love each other based on the need give and recieve love is all too complicated and…

Yuck. This is cancer. The key is to practice masculine techniques to delay the process. Please. EDIT: Um, I am going to briefly attempt to logically rebutt the argument made in the OP. So, the only thing that attracts a women to a man is masculine behavior? If attraction begins to decline, it can only be slowed from that point on? These are the basic elements of what I think this argument is comprised of, and it's just plain wrong. So yeah.

I'll spoil the ending for you gents, "I had to rent another room that night—but Iquitos is one of the cheapest places I have ever visited—only $25 a night (the hostel was $8)—and I banged that girl like the dirty jungle monkey slut that she was."

Ugh, the girl you're describing has no LTR value. That s why this post is so cringey. Not because of some TRP mandates and values.

But this is stupid. Maybe you can apply general rules like this but they will always be flawed as long as you speak in absolute terms. Men and women are both individuals. Capable of loving (valuing) each other endlessly.

No, I'm saying that referring to people who happen to also be women in a way that points out their stupidity as a group, or making generalizing statements about women's lack of foresight and planning makes them sound inferior.

nice fallacy. no, I'm saying we should refer to these women as people foremost instead of categorizing them in a way that makes them sound inferior.

You could have just used the word "people" there instead of "women".
