Did I say that should be the case? No. I'm not saying how it has been handled is how it should work. I am saying that in general allegations should be investigated, regardless of your personal feelings on the gender side of the issue. Some people here are saying that the allegation shouldn't be considered AT ALL because it is "just" teenagers saying it. Which is a very dangerous attitude and is just as bad as the people who argue for always taking the women/victim's side.

Agreed. Not what some other people here are saying though.

Yes which is why it should be investigated, which is what I'm arguing for and people seem to miss. Women do get raped, men do get falsely accused. Neither of those things is good reason to not fully investigate an accusation.

I'm not commenting on his guilt. I'm saying that an accusation of rape has been made an needs to be investigated. Why is that so hard to grasp? Are you saying they shouldn't investigate a case when people make an accusation of rape? That sounds like the kind of feminazi bullshit in reverse. As things stand a full investigation needs to be carried out. The little evidence we do have doesn't prove thigns either way but it suggests that rape might have happened. If this was murder, or robbery or wh…

No if there is an allegation it has to be investigated. A conviction shouldn't be based on an accusation alone, an investigation should be. There is an accusation, hence it should be investigated. Of course the girls should be punished if they are lying but we cant ignore the accusation just because sometimes people lie about rape. It isn't like accusing me of being a serial killer now. It would be like investigating me for being a serial killer after someone claims to have seen me/been targette…

Woah there cowboy. I don't see anyone saying that he defintiely did rape someone. Just that the accusation of rape does exist, whereas OP makes it sounds like they 100% made it up to teach him a lesson. Infact there is the possibility he did rape someone and that needs to be fully investigated. And either the rapist or the sociopath liars, as the case may be, should be punished.

Yeah but also, maybe he did rape her. Keep an open mind but don't blind yourself either way. Until/unless we have more evidence it is impossible to say either way at this point. A lot of women do get raped, especially teenagers. So it isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
