I get you, everything can be taken too far, and I do reckon some people in this sub are probably guilty of this

These kind of things aren't meant to make your life less enjoyable, they're to rewire your reward system to enable you to work for the things that are going to give you true satisfaction - a form of pleasure that can never be matched by the small indulgences that most people live their lives by.

Good post. I would also add that you should make the effort to take cold showers if you don't already, it does wonders for your discipline and has a host of other health benefits

"blue pill example" flair You got that right alphas are born, not made. It's woven into your brain waves. Mine emit alpha, your beta. No actual alpha would say this lol. This post reeks of someone trying to prove himself to himself. There is no real substance to it whatsoever

Nothing to do with having balls mate, it's just an all-around bad idea

You're right, it wasn't rape - but it was still fucked up. I don't think your friendship with this guy is worth shutting up to preserve if you're gonna be thinking of this incident every time he mentions his wife. Talk to him and hope for the best

Should I be cold and distant to her for turning me down She didn't turn you down. You should have pushed when she dropped the "it's complicated" (contextual translation: I'm informing you that I'm in a relationship but I want to make it extra obvious that I'm not going to let that stop me). You are the one that walked away from the opportunity. But making a move, successful or not, is a huge step when recovering from an emotionally draining LTR. Keep up the progress mate

But admitting to being raped when asked for the survey is equivalent to coming forward - so if the surveyed 15% only represents 1/10 of all raped women, then 150% of women have been raped. It's just funny to point out the flaws in how they must vary their definitions of things like "coming forward" and "rape", not to mention how on earth they expect to go about estimating the number of unreported rapes with any semblance of accuracy when they are, by definition, unreported?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
