2	The Double Standard With Violence I hesitate to take things I see on FB, online groups or any news outlet seriously. FB is filled with trolls and people looking to agitate to get a reaction. I cited the article more to refer to the differing sentences. The sentences are different for a reason, which goes back to the article citing how men and women are viewed in terms of the crime of rape/sexual assault. First off to say anything is “always” one sex or another immediately discredits you because it assumes there is no variance, which simply isn’t true. What you are claiming is extremely sexist.
