> Why are you "satisfied (that you) used (your) time as effectively as possible?" > What, exactly, did you do during those 112 hours? >Half-assed your gym routine which you couldn't get to anyway because of excuses. Agree. I got to 50% of what I normally do. > Started a book, but didn't finish or do the exercises because of excuses. I don't know about others but when i found this place, I needed to consume some of the information as fast as possible. a few posts into the sidebar NMMNG was mentio…

I agree and understand the importance of the gym. I got there twice instead of the usual three and I definitely used the work stress to increase my Bench PB (as pathetic as my PB is). I love the gym and do feel different when i don't go.

I do have an excessive ego. This is one of the reasons I am here. I am also here to improve myself and as u/SBIII, not live a mediocre life. I'm trying to stop myself from DEERing when answering. My ability to improve this week was severely reduced. I am and will continue to do the work that the veterans have laid down.

In an attempt not to DEER here, I attempted to Agree and Amplify and to show that I made then gym twice instead of the usual 3 times. I was genuine when I thanked you for your feedback and I do believe that I achieved most of what I could have, even if this was limited to owning my shit at home in the limited time I had due to excess work commitments. And I appreciate your final comment which reaffirmed the reason that I am here. I am not content.

< So no lifting, no social life and no sex because you didn't even try. Maybe I should have initiated with Chad when I was at the gym. I'll try harder. < There's 168 hours in a week. You really should try and make better use of them. I'm satisfied I used my time almost as effectively as possible but thank you for the feedback

Listening to some course material in traffic or gym but find myself zoning out or getting lost in thought. Days seem full with commute, work, commute, family, gym and bed. Rinse and repeat.…
