From an MRP POV: No masturbating or porn if its a problem. "my wife won't have sex with me, so I masturbate and watch porn." Well, will she not have sex with you simply because you are standing in the room, or is your masturbation draining your libido so you aren't initiating? The general consensus, anywhere, with anything is, if you think it's a problem, it probably is. Most of us in MRP view masturbation as one of those time wasters that you get *after everything else is checked. If the dude i…

AWALT: All Women Are Like That This doesn't literally mean "All women are like that" but it does mean that all women have the potential for it (whatever the "it" is.) RP deals in generalizations; the big part of the bell curve. Obviously there are women more inclined towards hypergamy and women who are less inclined towards hypergamy, but hypergamy exists, women are looking for the best possible mate (to say otherwise implies women are lazy and look for the worst.) Is my wife a hypergamous slut?…

I had a very civil Q&A post deleted in here, today. I was actually interested in hearing what a lot of you have to say. I was hoping to offer an objective (albeit personal) view of how RP helped me make my marriage better. My post was deleted, though, simply because I admitted to be (via different account) a member of MRP. TRP isn't perfect, and the top posters in there tend to post very provacative things, and the general population is mostly younger men. this is why I eschew most of it for MRP…

Even from "the inside" it seems "cultish" at times, but any group with non-mainstream ideologies can share the same characteristics. Every group has a bell curve. In TRP, a large majority of people sit in the middle. The outliers are the loud ones, though. But you need the outliers to be loud and you need the content to be a little provocative; it's what opens up discussions. Most non TRPers don't go past the first few comments or the even the post title... but if the delved into some comment th…

Excellent questions. This is an introspective question I have to evaluate myself, as well, from time to time. I can't give the most positive because they are all intertwined... but I will offer the biggest ones. The number 1 reason I adopted MRP was because I was going to divorce my wife last year due to a dead bedroom situation. I applied all the usual stuff (marriage counseling, choreplay, "giving her space", etc.) and nothing worked. I went to /r/deadbedrooms and was appalled at the self-loat…

This is a good question. There is a maxim we hold in /u/marriedredpill (MRP) that reads: women are the most responsible teenagers in the house. We also employ a tactic called "Amused Mastery." Some are good at it... some don't really know what it means. Do we actually think that she is basically a child for sex and housework? As whole: no. Sure there are those who are more extreme in their thinking and even more-so on speech, but as with everything, there is a bell curve, and most of us recogniz…
