As he's 19 there's a good chance it's just a side job next to college. In my experience at those types of jobs the don't shit where you eat rule doesn't really apply.

Go on pc, there you have the settings and you can put quarantined subs as readable. After you've done that you should also be able to visit them on mobile

It was. But there were a couple high profile cases that triggered it. Namely: The Norwegian and I think Danish girls getting their heads cut off in Morocco. The government's of these countries banned the video from being shared and it was shared there and there was media coverage on it. Same story with the new Zealand shooting. And there were more of this type, but it was mostly Reddit getting bad media coverage because of that sub. Same could happen with TRP but as there are probably less clear…

Watchpeopledie. It's banned from Reddit now though. The new Zealand video was pretty much the nail in the coffin for that sub.

He's not hating on you or anyone else trying to better himself. He's hating on people asking questions that just clog the sub and can be answered by the sidebar

Yeah I know, been to England a couple times and most are fine. It's just the guys on a lads holiday that's a different breed

As someone who at times has the pleasure to work with British tourists, I wouldn't describe them as classy lol

Any specific tips for someone that is about to do this? I'm literally about to move across the world and I'm thinking about how to set up a social life as fast as possible.

Could you elaborate on how you think sunk cost explains approach anxiety? I'm thinking and I honestly can't see the link between the two

Might be a stupid question, but if you catch genuine feelings for a 4, wouldn't that make your life a lot easier actually? Your smv is higher and if you just don't give a fuck what others think of it and are happy with her, I honestly don't see the problem. If you can be really attracted to a 4, which you then can otherwise you don't catch feelings

How would you go about making it clear you're intentionally doing so?

I'm in no way far into this stuff but I can tell you one thing. Get a job for now. Even if it's just temporary and not exactly what you want to do. It makes it a lot easier to get another job. As 99% of employers prefer someone working a shit job over someone being lazy and doing fuck all sitting at home. It will give you something to do and fill your days up. Sitting around all day doing fuck all will make anyone feel like shit in my experience.

Dude. Listen to /u/The_Litz as he has put in the work. My God has he put in the work. Hey Litz, Rian and I were speaking highly of you on a recent podcast. I am really taking his points into consideration and they've been lingering in my mind all day actually. You, young, moldable ball of potential, get a real username that fits your personality. Good point. Was planning on doing the next oys under a name that's not a throwaway and linking the first one in it. Also, keep in mind, that your abund…

Even if you do lift with bad form. Most regulars will recognise you're new and just offer some tips on how to better it. It's not like anyone is going to point and laugh.

That post and the examples definitely gave the idea of what not to do. Thanks for linking it. I've been reading on it more and starting to get it/apply it better and better these past weeks but it's still not all there but I'm just starting so I guess that's normal too. I'm just going to keep going and posting oys at least every other week.

You make good points actually. It is a nice girl and the situation does suit me as ive always regretted not going abroad before so it's a difficult decision because I know at this time it might not be wise. On the other hand, under stay plan=go plan, if it doesn't work out it will hurt, but at least after that I'll be ready to have some fun playing the game. It's not like I'm planning on living together anytime soon. I've just never had the balls to play the field for real, n count is 12 if I'm …

Thanks. I've read quite a few posts on it so far. Still not completely know how to get it though. I'll read those books somewhere in the next 2 weeks thanks for the recommendation. Search MRP posts - it's there. It's like the idea of framing from social science. It's your worldview, your judgment of yourself and your situation. Some guys are too easily influenced, from extreme conspiracy theories and codependent behavior all the way down to subtly allowing other people's moods and whims to alter…

OYS 1 Made a post here a couple weeks ago. Have started reading the sidebar and working on some of the stuff. Even though i'm not exactly the MRP demographic I think it will be good to at least write stuff out so I see what I've been doing. Stats 23 y/o 1,85m 67 kg Navy method says 11.7% bf. Not that it matters at this weight. Sq: 62.5kg B: 57.5kg DL: 85kg Physical Lifting itself has gone well for about 10 weeks now. I've consistently done my work outs at least 5 times a week and often 6. …

Alright I'm in no way far into this. But this is something I feel I've always done right, also before finding redpill. Say you meet a girl, get the number (I usually give mine so when they text I know there's interest, but I don't think that's advised here). Then when you text or get texted after have a short conversation about when you saw her or something that came up. Anything really. Then usually within 4-5 messages I'll ask "So when are we getting a drink". Works fine for me as I feel they …

Yeah in my case most of the problems are mine to be honest. It's mostly my insecurities and just supplicating beta behaviour. She handled it relatively well to be fair. I've just always have the issue that I get like that once I start liking someone more which I'm now working on fixing.

I wasn't the op. But it does apply to me in a way so thanks anyway. although the situation is a bit different. I've started trp a couple weeks ago, relationship isn't fucked yet but could be better as I've acted beta as fuck. My plan now is mostly to improve on myself, like in the lift and sidebar way, and then see wether this is what I want to stay in or not. I mostly want to put myself in a position where i can easily replace her if I want to. Which should be doable as I have a good face but a…

I see your point that it would be a lot harder. But, if it's not possible than what is the whole mrp sub doing? It seems like they're having succes with it

It's also how you talk about it. If you honestly love what you and get satisfaction from it then tell that to people. I'm sure you'll have some ambition in what you want to do too. There's more paths to life than being an engineer or whatever. But if you talk about it like it's a shit way of life without ambition the people you tell that will assume the same. Just find out what you want to do with it and show some passion about it. If you want to teach English and love it and are passionate abou…

Alright thank you for responding. I've actually read quite a few of your posts these past couple days and they're quite informative. Guess I'll have some stuff to work to work on the next year or two. I'll do an oys after a couple months when I think I've made some progress worth sharing

That's more about keeping your own life and doing things you want to do yourself and not living for someone else. Also lack of sex and covert contracts. Which wasn't the issue in this case

Have read (listened to actually)nmmng . Been lifting for about 2 months but haven't been as consistent with diet as I should've been but been tracking it again for the past 2 days. Will read the rational male next week as this week I've decided to finally finish work for uni that ive been procrastinating for months now.

Yeah I've noticed that. Honestly part of me always knew I shouldn't but I always thought after a while you would just spout your feelings. It was before I found trp and mrp too. Ah well guess it's a learning moment at least. At least finding this is a good thing as it has made me realise I have to make some changes in my life and to quote another commenter stop being a lazy cunt

Thanks for the long response. I'll look those up and start working on implementing it. Assume that by stay plan is go plan you mean put yourself in a place where you're attractive so either this works or I can easily replace if it doesn't. What would gaming in a relationship mean though? You can't just keep doing shit like push pull and assumptions for the entirety of a relationship or am I wrong here?

Yeah but at some point you're bound to start caring. In the beginning I'm fine as I honestly don't care but after that how do you maintain a relationship if you do want to be with the girl. Also, if I were to go there for a year. Can the dynamic realistically be reverted back to the way it was the first year we dated or is it mostly a lost cause and should I move on? Thanks for taking the time to respond btw appreciate it
