OP - Don't get butt hurt and disregard this comment. Let it marinate.

Great comment, the cowering in the bathroom was more geared towards guys looking at mobile porn there, not shitting. I'm definitely not advocating more broadcasting of what you do... More along the lines of looking at what you do from the perspective of, why do I think I need to hide any sort of evidence? Do I need to be more productive right now? Is this a shameful activity because I am not being who I want to, or just a blue pill remnant of me not wanting to deal with a negative reaction from …

This is completely acceptable and my path I'd say. Do nothing in secret does not mean, reveal everything about you. I think it's more, you don't have to white lie or even say shit. Just do things you are proud of. Amen.

This I think is most guys' case on here that aren't very seasoned. I get it. I'm not advocating bringing up MRP or any strategy for that matter. It's all of the other facets of life that we used to keep secret or still have the impulse to hide or white lie about to our wife or others that can slowly lead to becoming much better as a man.

Weakness, submissiveness, being a bitch... Of course all of these things aren't literally being glorified, they are the opposite. What the media portrays is that you can have all of those qualities, and eventually a chance to show more glorified "redpill" mastery, honor, courage will fall into your lap, and after showing those traits once, you'll get what you really wanted, usually a woman or money. The characters that display the confidence, mastery, courage throughout the entire film, book, et…

Do whatever is the most net fun for you. If you are mad at yourself for caring too much about your wife's beef as you make this decision, you can address that after.

This comment best sums up my view: I like some deconstruction on MRP, keeps us grounded. Video games are an easy example of a time suck that does not display high value to society. Why do we care? Many men who first swallow the pill have a lot of these, and recognising then eliminating them is easier by quitting cold turkey I'd argue. This also makes it easier for these men to build male relationships, get stronger etc just by "freeing up time". Working on a motorcycle, wood working, etc provide…

I am from a similar relationship background, only really serious with my now wife, married a little over 3 years. It is nearly impossible to truly practice "game" and get that useful abundance mentality if you go into it thinking that it's not for you or not your scene. There are opportunities wherever you make them, especially with new hobbies, the trick is buying in and not convincing yourself it's not you. You don't have any obligation to take a chick home. I'm still a beginner, but it helps …

Entry 2: Body: Good week, counting calories, estimate 1.5lbs lost fat over the last 10 days. Working on updating grooming and hygiene to make the best of what I got. Lifting 4xs a week. Mind: Got a "No" yesterday, averaging about every other request for sex. Played it off fine. I am trying to not let her answers dictate my perceived progress. Slowly need to get to next dread level (3). I am going to be more spontaneous when going out with my friends / taking her out. Reading Way of Men by Jack D…

First post. Body: BF at 19.5%, have been lifting and eating, but never measured nutrition. Starting this week. Goal of 12% BF my Christmas. Carb cleaned the house to the amused delight of the wife. Tracking wife's cycle has helped me understand and predict her moods, allowing me to more efficiently handle her emotional waves. Mind: Steady here. I've been planning another hobby and how to get the right tools to accomplish it. Long term goal for Q1 2017. I am thinking too much about wife and other…

I ,for one, enjoyed your post and can relate. It seems like you have the knowledge and have read enough of the principles here that you have diagnosed yourself. You know the why, now you need to figure out what you are going to do about it. Physically it seems you are humming along perfectly, even 15% body fat can start getting consistent IOIs. I think you need to cross a mental barrier and do something interesting that scares you a bit. Go suck at something. Dojo, guitar, language learning dinn…

If this is an authentic post, please buy a camera and document as you read and lift over the next 12 months, could be a brilliant case study. From where it sounds like you are at, listen to the helpful comments here. Start reading the sidebar, try not to go too fast, and know the anger will pass.

Ha, "there's a word for that" I think we all remember that moment. After a long time of living it, just talking non accusingly and without an agenda seems to have some merit. Good shit.

Appreciate the reply, this is a likely scenario for me I imagine. I assume there is no alternate strategy and I should direct efforts elsewhere, had to ask though, toss up a hail mary.

A pre 30 perspective, married 3 yrs: Like many have already commented, it's one of the only mistakes a lot of us don't yet regret. I found MRP at the first signs of me feeling like something was missing, and it was the perfect diagnosis. It is a mindset that helps me make marriage work for me and remember to better myself, a lot of the older posters here inspire me to think it can be done, and to not think twice about leaving if it can't. I would have waited a few years and entered with a strong…

Obvious up vote here. Also consider: Doggy Style, Reverse cowgirl, moving your evening agenda to your afternoon or morning agenda. Her insecurities are not solvable by you, and if anything comfort tests. Show her they don't matter to you if they don't.

Read the advice above several times. Only a month in and in dread level 5? You are cramming information in that can't be crammed. Slow down and think about you. Stop using sex as your scale of success. As long as that is the case, your head won't be in the best place for personal, attractive growth. Consistent intensified sex is a principal side effect of becoming a man again, not the finish line.

Good advice here if you can pull it all off. She should be the one feeling she has to mate guard you. You should not have confronted her on trying to look nice for an old fling. AWALT. At most you should have just joked with her, "You look fine babe, I'm sure he'll want you back." While handling your shit and getting ready for a fun night and chance to meet people. Make the night about you and stop dreading what she might do, you already walked into this one for some reason.

You should post issue questions like this to r/askmrp With close to 0 context of your lifestyle, friends, plans, etc. there is no way we can do anything but generalize how we might handle this. Personally I'd say don't test the limits of her frame until you have enough self confidence to know what you want to do and what you should do here.

This rings true. When you suddenly hit a couple sexless weeks or wonder why it's not working as well, fear not, keep the course, you have to improve until you don't keep track of her advances or moods as a measuring stick. Your happiness is the final measure, whatever it takes.

Your loss, Clairmont Lounge is hilarious. Also, stop feeling guilty unless you truly believe you did something "wrong". Your wife was cool with ugly naked girls, but not in shape ones because she is a bit insecure and wants you to like how she looks.

This reads like something that belongs in r/relationships. You aren't married, and you have a case of Oneitis. You sent some lewd texts to a girl, she found them and you broke up. You have low self worth and she knows she has power over you even now. At this point, even if you groveled your way back to a relationship with her you'd be living in her frame. I am only a year in, but it sounds like you need to build a better you. If you come back as a strong self confident man, it's the only way you…

Began the audio book Iron John because of this post. Only a few chapters into the audio book but it is a great read thus far. Hearing a well thought out perspective on masculinity from 25 years ago is just proof that these themes have been a long time in the works.

That's neither the basis of the post nor "most" of it. You took two lines that suggest using a friend or relative's login to no detriment of either party rather than cancel the services entirely or pay for something you don't need and chose to only get that message.

Completely agree here, and personally am right at your ideal income to advise on. Making more is ,in most cases, necessary for us exchanging ideas on here. My point is more to the fact that if you aren't there yet, start getting good with money now and don't miss the lay-ups you can make today. Once you start hitting the paydays that you've earned through self improvement, it will be that much more. Not just to delve into the "Don't buy stupid shit that you can't afford" mantra. I'm sure there's…

This is true. Best case scenario is eliminating the need for any of these services until you can afford them and / or bother spending time using them.
