It's sad that not demonizing men is considered a privilege.

The father had a sexual relationship with the rapist. He would sacrifice his own son just to get another chance with that porker. Shameful.

It's always great to see people shittalking MRA's saying that they don't do anything to help men. Maybe we'd actually get shit done if idiots didn't constantly pull nonsense like this every time we try to have a discussion about mens issues.

Switch the sexism with racism. There's no way that would fly with a semi popular "news site", unless it was probably against whites.

We don't have /#Whitelivesmatter or /#Asianlivesmatter though. /#Blacklivesmatter seems to be about death of blacks in general. Especially since the confederate flag situation has nothing to do with police.

Regardless of troll or not, it's always best to just swap gender for race in these arguments.

Even watching those videos of former scientologists getting bullied and told they're worthless and stuff sounds less harsh than this. 3rd wave feminism is pure trash, period.

But feminists claim that they help men along with women. That is not true. The MRM doesn't make that claim so it doesn't apply to them.
/r/MensRights18/01/14 07:40 PM
11

If the MRM doesn't fight for women's rights, that doesn't mean it doesn't care about women's rights. Not caring about women's rights would be fighting for men's rights regardless of if it hurts women's rights or not. Like I said earlier, the MRM cares about women's rights, making sure anything they fight for is equal for both men and women.
/r/MensRights18/01/14 06:53 PM
14

The complaint is not that some feminists don't fight for needs rights, it's that feminisms fight for women's rights has been detrimental to men's rights. Thank you for assuming that I don't care about women's rights. I am in fact an egalitarian and do care and believe everyone should have equal rights.
/r/MensRights18/01/14 06:41 PM
37

The MRM doesn't claim to fight for women's rights. It claims to fight for men's rights while at the same time recognize and respect women's rights without trampling them. Feminism in the other hand claims that they also fight for men's right along with women's rights, but we can see how that actually goes.

For the title, "Transgendered men, or gay men, or trans-curious men, or any other sort of person who is being told that who they are is shameful", I'm sure the OP wasn't meaning that to be taken literally word for word, they were probably just focusing on the lgbt people and not considering other categories of people. If the title is taken literally, it does seem like basically anyone who has been told they are shameful is "A-OK" in his book.

It's wrong to think of children sexually, but you can't change what people think. As long as they don't act upon it or make any choices that reflect upon said thoughts, I couldn't care less of what they think. They have a right to the privacy of their own mind.

Only if there is no harm. Pedophile, it's illegal because a child isn't mature enough to consent. Serial killer kills people, that's wrong. Bestiality, animals can't consent and generally can't speak up when abused. Lgbt couples, there is no harm involved and if there is they have ways of preventing or stopping that harm. They can consent.

IIRC, there are lots of nerves in the foreskin and there's a chance that could lead to permanent loss of feeling down there. There isn't really any reason to other than cleaning, which you can still do with a foreskin. Better to not risk doing it for literally nothing. Also read somewhere that an Asian man committed suicide because of a botched circumcision.
