I facepalm any time someone brings that up seriously. You bring up something from half a decade ago, as if it would even be relevant to today's world. Then you ignore that it was rejected. And finally, you skip over the fact that none of the proposals in the operation included killing civilians. False flag attacks against military/civilian installations would have been done without the loss of life. Nowhere does it say to actually kill anyone. As if that's fucking comparable to killing thousands…

They are when you narrow it down to terrorists who commit mass murder with impunity. As opposed to terrorists like Eta who would often call in advance of a bomb threat, etc, and certainly wouldn't fly a fucking plane into a civilian building.
