Feminism is, and always has been, about punishing lower class men. That's its entire "raison d'etre" or reason for being. It is actually a profoundly sadistic "movement," based on upper class white women being given license to condemn their "inferiors," aka working class men, as a form of sublimating their own anger, to the benefit of the ruling class. It's a good description for the complete (seeming) lack of awareness by feminists of the crucial role women play in shaping male behaviour, especially in terms of sexual selection. Because feminists are absolutely terrified of acknowledging female agency, lest women be held responsible for their actions, the problems associated with "masculinity" invariably fall -- as always -- on the shoulders of men. Pretty good article, but the solipsism still amazes me. We're STILL supposed to be primarily concerned about how false rape accusations affect women and their perceived "empowerment," while a male victim of a false rape accusation (a much worse crime, imo, as it may lead to decades of forced confinement and other horrors) are basically relegated to a footnote. Surprise surprise -- ex wives often lie about their ex-husbands, and vice versa, while denying or grossly downplaying their own transgressions. The fact that Paul's ex refused to get a paternity test pretty much says it all. Anyway, the whole thing is just typical attack the messenger garbage. Make no mistake AVfM is a business that's about lining Paul Elam's pockets. Meh, I don't really care if Elam uses some of his donations for personal expenses. A man's gotta eat. What I do dislike is that Elam is repeatedly described as the "leader of the Men's Rights Movement." There is no such thing. As for the article, it's a standard smear job.
