He 100% would not mention he is single without being interested in you. From what i can tell, he just doesn’t know how to flirt. I used to be the same way. Honestly he might just be playing it safe because you are a coworker and there’s always a little extra risk in dating a coworker

This is certainly a unique way to go about doing things, but i’m glad to hear it worked for you. I think i might use the idea of a massage for escalation purposes, but paying a girl to come over so i can give her a massage doesn’t seem like something i want to do.

Pay for the girl to come over or meet you at a hotel.

Underrated post, thank you for this. All of the answers seem obvious when you explain them.

How long does it take for you guys to get past the “cold” stage? I spent 15 minutes and probably 15 questions and i’m still only getting short, cold, answers. Am i actually this bad?

It’s important to note, desirable for a one night stand and desirable for a long term relationship are not the same

I mean no, i wouldn’t want to be with somebody long-term who is that rude, but i wouldn’t mind a one-time thing. I only knew that after i asked anyway, though, so it doesn’t matter.

Lol i mean i didnt come here asking for advice. I have also gotten a number of yes answers, and i am currently in a happy relationship. All i was saying is that whole “worst thing she can say is no” narrative is false.

True to the no risk no reward thing. The only reason i have been turned down is because i have tried.

You say the worst thing she can say is no, but i have had girls laugh and/or say ew, gross or something like that. That is much worse than no.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
