In my experience, there is a fundamental misunderstanding by women about what work is. Women tend to think that they are being paid for their time and that all they have to do is show up, get through the day, and get paid. Men, on the other hand, realize that they are getting paid for the value they add to the company, whether it be through their labor, technical knowledge, business acumen, etc.

You make a decent point. The only female friends that I have are girlfriends of my guy friends and co-workers. Both are off limits for sex, so I tend not to be flirty with them. Any girl that I meet independently and am interested in sexually, I plate her and fuck her. If I am not interested in her sexually, she's not worth my time and she never becomes a friend.

If you treat the girl exactly as you would treat any of your male friends, you are friends with her. If you treat her special in any way that you wouldn't treat your male friends, you are an orbiter (assuming you aren't having sex with her).

I love women. They can be some of the nicest people on the planet. Unfortunately they are driven by emotion instead of logic, so that makes them extremely unpredictable. This is where most problems come from.

It sounds like you are looking for the evolutionary reason. One of the biggest is that women are looking for genes that will help their children survive for as long as possible in the dangerous world. A younger guy has not proven that he has the best genes for survival. He might die in his early 20s. A 40 year old guy, on the other hand, has survived all of the shit that life has thrown his way for decades and this is apparent to women simply by virtue of him being alive. Therefore, it is more l…

I use the universal ranking scale where 5 is the average woman of reproductive age (typically 16 to 32ish, women older aren't even worth considering) and a standard deviation is two units either way. Therefore, by definition, 67.5% of women are between 3 and 7, 13.6% are between 7 and 9 and 2.25% are 9+. Now when you are on a college campus and the girls average about 20 years old, the mean rating of that subset shifts from 5 to 7 but the universal rating for the individual girls stays the same.…

While y'all may have been joking, in all seriousness, this girl's level of attractiveness is crucial in determining what she has been up to overseas. If she is an 8+, it is highly likely she has been riding cock. Below that, she may be but it isn't as certain.

Haha, I just graduated from UA. Awesome school, the hottest girls and lots of fun. I wish I could go back. Now that the sororities are being forced to integrate, it is probably going to fuel some race tensions. I wasn't in a frat, but I dated a few sorority girls during my time. Are they letting the black girls go to their social events? I imagine they must, but that would be really weird. Whenever I went to non-greek parties, black girls were always a good reason to leave and move on to another…

No way. I would be getting paid the same with not nearly the freedom of being salaried. Not to mention the better benefits offered to salaried employees.

For the type of job I have, it doesn't make any sense to pay hourly. I am paid to carry out my responsibilities and whether I do it in 30 hours or 50, the company gets the same benefit so I am on salary. If I were working hourly, it wouldn't make sense because I would finish my responsibilities in 30-40 hours and then have nothing to do for overtime.

I work no more than 40 hours per week. I can basically pick my own hours as long as I am in the office when I need to be in meetings or have specific things I need to do at specific times. I can take however long of a lunch that I want to, take breaks whenever I want, and and I don't have to go through the administrative mess of being on hourly pay.

I unfortunately live in California too, simply because my job doesn't exist in any other state. I work on a salary though, so I am exempt from all of those crazy labor laws. It is also nice to be able to come and go from work as I please on my own hours as long as my work gets done. Do you have the opportunity to work on salary instead of hourly?

Keeping money from your wife aside, bitcoin is a TERRIBLE investment. It could become worthless over night and does not make consistent gains like you would get in the stock or bond market. There are probably much better ways to hide that money like foreign investments or cash locked in a safe somewhere for that matter.

You have plenty of time to figure it out still. If you are taking AP calc and honors physics this year, you are WAY ahead of the curve. If you meant that you are taking it your senior year, you will be ahead of the curve as long as you get AP credit for college. If you are in those classes, you probably have the aptitude to become an engineer as long as you are willing to put in some hard work.

What year in high school are you? Have you taken a physics class with electricity? Also consider your options to become a skilled maintainer or technician instead of an engineer. Some places you can start straight out of high school as an apprentice so you can start 4 years sooner and won't have the high cost of college. These guys don't need nearly the mathematical or physics knowledge and work directly hands on whatever it is they are working on. They are often, but not always, unionized (you …

I took Calc 1 and 2 in highschool (through AP). This let me start with multivariable Calc in college. This is not required. Most people start out in either Calc 1 or 2. Both are fine places to start -- it is just nice to be ahead with your classes so you can take a lighter course load when the courses are the toughest. If you need to take a trig or pre-calc class in college, that will put you behind. It doesn't put you out of the game, just you will be starting behind almost all of your classmat…

You don't need to love math. We don't do math like mathematicians do. We use math as a tool. You have to be proficient in the math that you use, but you aren't just doing math for the heck of doing math; you use it as required to solve problems. Engineers make good money, but if that is all you are looking for, don't become an engineer just for the money. When you get a degree in engineering they teach you one thing: how to solve problems. You will be taught which tools to use and when to use th…

Can confirm. I am an engineer. My office is not so different than that in the first season of Mad Men. Only differences are that I work on advanced fighter jets and that there are just a couple hot secretaries -- not one for everyone anymore (but that's the way it is in every industry since computers and email became a thing. It's a shame really.)

Federal law does not have jurisdiction in states. Hence the "Whoever, in the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States..." The US Constitution specifically states that Federal Law only applies when the act occurs in multiple states, or non-state US territories. If you murder someone, you won't be tried in a federal court, you will be tried by the states. Likewise, each state has it's own law on voyeurism and in some states, it is perfectly legal to film whatever the hell…

I work at a very intense job as a control room engineer for fighter jet testing for the USAF (think like the control room guys in the Apollo 13 movie but with modern computers and fighter jets instead of rockets). Of about 50 or so people, there are 2 women and everyone hates working with them. This is an intense, high risk job where a mistake can cause men to die and a $100 million dollar jet to crash. When in the control room, then men are focused on their jobs at all times. We have several co…

I think the bell curve goes both ways so the corollary of what I originally said is that the average man will be stronger than 997 out of 1000 women.

Based on the way that guy charged in and the rage that he was taking out those women with, I would assume that the girl getting beat up was his girlfriend or sister. In that case, it makes sense to do what he did, but if it were some random girl, I would not have intervened either.

A good book that touches on this subject is The Sports Gene by David Epstein. Men are three standard deviations stronger than women. This means that out of 1000 men, 997 are stronger than the average female. Those 3 that are weaker are most likely men with severe genetic issues.

You are asking the wrong question. You can't flirt like an alpha, just like a fat girl can't seduce like a fit girl. You have to become alpha. Be the man you want to be, don't pretend to be him.

In almost all states, rape due to the girl being "unable to consent" literally means that she is physically unable to consent, i.e., passed out. If she is hammered out of her mind, but still has willing sex, that is not rape in the eyes of the law. Whether it is moral or not is another question, but it is not illegal.

I also don't have a lot of respect for traditional female roles. I love women, I just don't think anyone should be happy folding laundry, raising kids, and putting other people's lives ahead of their own for their entire life. It seems very weak to me. This is one of the major problems with feminism today. Most girls today want to fall into that traditional role. It comes naturally to them and they feel comfortable in it. Just because you wouldn't be happy doing it, doesn't mean most women would…

Be careful. A little while ago, I was regularly fucking a chick with a bf. It started with her being insanely attracted to me and we would fool around, but she wouldn't have sex with me. She convinced her bf to start fucking other girls and in her mind, that gave her justification for fucking me so we started having sex. I am not trying to scare you or say that your gf wants to fuck other dudes, but be careful -- women will rationalize fucking other guys just because you are fucking other girls,…

I did some research, and trust laws seem to be decently complicated and vary from state to state. One thing that seems to be important is setting up the trust BEFORE you get married. If you wait til after you get married, you may not be able to protect the assets in your trust from being ordered by a court to your ex-wife.

I want children and I think the best environment to raise my children would be in a household with married parents. I also want to have a wife that would take care of the kids and house during the day while I work and I could come home to a freshly cooked hot meal. I think it would be worth the risk of being screwed over in a divorce to actually live the life that I want to live rather than not try to out of fear. I want to live life on my terms, not society's or anyone else's.

I understand completely. I actually stopped bondage with one of my plates because I was no longer getting any enjoyment out of it. Luckily I have a couple others that are better at keeping things fresh and interesting (one really good one is this married girl that if her husband found out would probably try to kill me. It's such a thrill when I fuck her in their bed and he could come home unexpectedly at any moment). I have a feeling that I am eventually going to get bored with them too though. …

What kind of probability is there that a girl that has VIP passes is going to hook up with the band? Is it high enough that I should never let a girlfriend do it? And if she insists and goes anyways to break up with her for it because it is more likely than not that she did cheat?

Whether men and women "should" be equal is irrelevant. Men and women are inherently different and never will be equal. It's like asking, "Should aluminum and steel be equal?" It makes no sense. They are two different metals with different properties. Each has its own different advantages and disadvantages. Just like men and women -- two different sexes, each with its own different advantages and disadvantages, and certainly not equal.

More generally, this is called Tit for Tat, an effective strategy in game theory. It's no coincidence that it works in relationships as well.

I understand what you are saying, but we are both right. Women do make the decision to be with older men because their genes told them to because those genes are more popular in the gene pool because of the reasons I stated. Basically it goes like this: Genes that tell women to choose older men create more replicas of themselves (those women reproduce successfully more compared with women whose genes tell them to choose younger men -- for the reasons I described). More replicas of those genes ma…

I agree. I hold the belief that the state should have no involvement in marriage at all and that it should be a strictly religious/personal relationship. I would however make the compromise of getting legally married if it were the only option other than not marrying at all. My ideal wife would hold the same belief and not need to get legally married, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if she did.
/r/askTRP

I was engaged to be married what now feels like a lifetime ago. I am a different man now and and could never go back to being that other guy. I still want to get married and have kids, but it is going to be a whole different process for me to get there this time.
