I ask my kids what they would like to do as this day no longer has anything to do with me. This year they wanted to buy a card instead of making one and then I told them they each have $5 to pick something out. I let them decide everything as this is their gift to their mom.

100 percent blessed, at least with no kids you can go completely no contact. I have 3 with my ex and still have to do contact but try to keep it as minimal as possible and only about the kids. I’m coming up on 2 years OP and I promise it gets better with time but these first couple months are going to be the hardest( To this day I’m still not fully healed but 100 times better than when it all started) Don’t jump on the apps finding someone new right away is not the answer, work on yourself, take…

Sorry to hear you’re going through similar things I went through, it sucks, and thanks I’m doing a whole lot better but the days still come and go where you think what went wrong etc. but life is def a lot better now and as time goes on it will be for you too.

Sorry to hear you went through that bro. It sucks, it’s almost like they are instantly a complete different person, cause ever since that day I haven’t known who my ex was. I try very minimal contact with her after all the hurt she’s put me through but there will always have to be contact as we have 3 kids together. Maybe I just think she was someone who she really wasn’t the whole time, Idk. Hope you’re doing better. 🙏

It’s true Christ did suffer more than we can even imagine and what fitting time to talk about that while we just had Good Friday and going into Easter Sunday. You are in the thick of it, I remember when it first started for me, I felt pain I never felt before, my whole body was numb, confused, didn’t sleep, couldn’t think straight, my ex laughed at tik toks while I sat there and cried, when she first told me. I’d be lying if I said there’s not going to be some crappy days ahead because there wil…

First off just want to say you matter brother, I thought of sell harm also at different moments going through my divorce etc but I’m glad I never did anything, we especially need to be here for our kids. I thought it would never get better and to be honest it took me a long time, and I heard people on different videos etc say it would get better but when your in it, your in it and it feels never ending, but I promise it does get better with time, it’s hard but right now your ex is not the person…

Everything ModernRidesWraps said is so true, I went through it all also, my ex moved on super quick with her coworker( she’s 34 he was 54 🤣ended up leaving him for another 😂 (we have 3 kids) it’s gonna suck for a awhile and feel never ending sometimes, but it’s truly going through the pain etc that’s starting your true healing, don’t mask it, sit in it, face it the best you can and really focus on yourself and your kids, that’s the most important thing you can do right now. It truly does get bet…

I would have to disagree, they told each other no one was to bring any dates home to their house they had and both of them agreed. she broke the rules. Doesn’t matter if he is away etc that’s disrespectful and he has every right to be upset.

It was very heavy. So many nights just feeling defeated and crying on the couch. Tried my best to keep life normal for the kids, even to this day they do not know why we split (they are younger 8,10,13) didn’t want them to have a bad image of their mom but if they ask when their older I’ll tell them) Thankful I had family to help me through it but still felt so alone, wish I would have found and joined these Reddit pages sooner. All I can do now is share my story and let others know they’re not …

Stay strong bro! Happened to me also, mine left to have a multi month party stage and then for a coworker 20 years older (same age as her dad) their now not together she said he’s crazy 🤣 think they both kinda were tbh she’s now onto another 🤷‍♂️She was gone all the time, hardest was the kids always asking where’s mom going( we have 3 together) when she would come back from hotel stays she would have lingerie sitting on top of her suitcase so that I would see along with hundreds of other ways sh…
