Reminds me of the Sarah Everard murder. A few weeks later a different woman was found dead in a park (Sabina Nessa), also in London and comparitively very little was made of it. There was also a student girl in Hull that was abducted and murdered a short while ago but very little was made of it. I have noticed the Aihling Murphy murder all over my Instagram and I don't live in Ireland. I live in London. I don't know why but certain cases just become massive news and others don't. I'm not sure wh…

I would like to offer a more positive view that we are already past peak woke. It is already challenged in open conversation and most of the people I know are centrists that find a reasonable balance. In the UK, even Labour (the major centre left/left wing) have had to ditch woke because it was costing them so much popularity. This is 100% true. I had a tinder account banned (rightly or wrongly - I don't think I wrote anything offensive on it). When I set a new one up immediately afterwards I noticed the price of my premium had almost doubled - I think the price is adjusted to the age you join Tinder. This was a few years after I had created my first account.

I'm not sure about Ireland but there is certainly no support in the UK for male victims of domestic abuse by female perpetrators. It doesn't fit with the narrative the liberal elites are pushing here. If anything, the 'strong woman' narrative that they are pushing is increasing the likelihood of abuse.

I had my first cut throat wet shave at the barber on the weekend. It cost 12gbp. It was great.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
