As a dog trainer there's so much wrong with this post, I don't even. Giant piece of horseshit. You know absolutely nothing about dogs (neither does Cesar who is an absolute joke in the field). If you want some red pill advice, stop watching TV shows for other reasons than entertainment.

Not everyone has the agency to do things outside of what keeps them alive. It's the same with men. The majority of the people in the world are passive consumers.

I am not talking about religion per se, just idealistic thinking in general. If you can still be spontaneous in your life then all the power to you, otherwise you are inviting disappointment and people around you will never be able to relax and they will be miserable. That's no way to live your life. And I know because at times I have been that overbearing person. Reality will never be perfect, so you've got to be able to relax about it. Just my .2c

From my experience this kind of attitude ends very badly when one needs a little kindness and forgiveness from oneself. Too much focus on God often makes people inflexible and perpetually guilty which just invites depression and lowers performance. It' just my perspective though, I have been raised rather liberally and had to discover virtue on my own, not the other way around. But what I learned is that it's better to be "sincere" than "serious".

I admire your moral principles, but I believe there is a danger in going too far into one direction. Being too strict and purpose-driven erodes the soul just as much as excessive indulgence in material pleasures. You need both. Perhaps in todays society we have gone too far in one direction, and this extreme focus on conservative value is no doubt a counterbalancing act, but that is the macro level. On a micro level you can definitely loosen up a little sometimes. You are not Jesus, no need to d…

I want sons That is a life of desire too, just FYI. And you are setting yourself up for failure because your son will be an individual too and he might choose to tell you to go fuck yourself and refuse to learn from you or whatever. So I highly recommend you rethink your perspective on self-ownership and individuality because life might gravely disappoint you. Actions have consequences but nobody "owes" anyone anything, that's just delegating responsibility for your choices to someone else. Unti…

Physics is science which is as close to objective truths we can have about the universe as there is. But nobody in their right mind equates physics with psychology, economy or social sciences. As far as human behavior is concerned objective truth may not matter, what matters is what is useful for survival (not only biologically but also memetically). Even animals in nature bluff all the time so lying is kind of inherent to nature. Perception does play a big role in how we behave. And sometimes t…

Reticular activator system is that part of your brain that filters stuff that is important to you at the time. I think if your brain is searching for reasons why some particular relationship might work because you already have so much in common etc, and is reinforced with feel-good and pair-bonding hormones, then you can definitely convince yourself that someone is "the one" for you. Your brain can trick you, is what I'm saying. It probably isn't an easy topic as far as epistemology goes.

I didn't say they are mutually exclusive. I can definitely see some people with abundance do romantic gestures, they just do it for different reasons (it's not desperate supplicating, but just to make themselves feel... romantic). I wouldn't be so quick to say what kind of people do what without a study to support it, so all I can say is how those terms are defined. Also I don't think you need to be romantically inclined to get oneitis, I think we are all somewhat predisposed to it with hormones…

Oneitis is the belief that there is one person, a soulmate whom you were destined to be with. Being romantic is a general term for expressing love, feelings or having beliefs that these things matter in life. Oneitis is definitely a romantic belief, but being romantic does not necessarily mean you have to believe in soulmates.

You give yourself permission to love yourself unconditionally, the ability of which you used to have as a kid, but were conditioned out of it by society. Then you realize that life is much more meaningful and fulfilling when you approach it from the perspective of adding value, than by filling a bottomless pit with countless meaningless targets. “It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, he…

Emotions are fuel for humans, and "oneitis" is just a way to name emotions of love and attachment. When those feelings are handled properly and allowed to move thorugh the body without resistance and then taken and channeled away from the object that caused it (in this case a woman, but it could be anything that cause a significant spike in emotions) towards one's virtues or creative efforts, a state of flow with life emerges that feels like a connection to a higher power that rewards one with e…

Appreciation, joy, servitude, worship, transcendence, abundance, I absolutely love these words. That's a great post and this philosophy goes a long way in creating a happy life and a better future for everyone around you; they touch the core nature of manhood which is really about growth and contribution. It is a very noble way of looking at the world, because you get to play the a role of a great leader and a provider at the same time. If a man transcends, he can die knowing that his life meant…

The primary law of nature is the cycle of growth and contribution. The value of a man is really determined not by what he has (that can be taken away in a heartbeat) but what he can contribute to others. Nobody shuns a resourceful person. Unfortunately, in this society most people are conditioned into scarcity mindset and subconsciously implanted a desire to have more (materials possessions, women, success, anything). This makes them stuck in a hamster-wheel, not knowing that they are all just d…

The real Red Pill is that all our problems are in the psyche of the collective mind and that the rabbit hole grows with time as the inner worlds of men and women are being manifested out into the outside world so it becomes clearer and clearer how corrupted we are as a species, until it becomes impossible to ignore for everyone.

You are missing the point of identity shifting entirely. It has nothing to do with goals, because then even when you arrive at a goal of smoking 0 cigarettes, your identity will still be attached to a nonsmoker, just one who achieved the goal of not smoking. You will eventually end up, consciously or not, relapsing into an old habit. Thinking that doing things gradually is somehow better is just that - thinking. Dreaming about kicking the habit and keeping it at the same time ;-) Subconscious is…

That's in opposition to what I said. You cannot be nonsmoker and smoke less everyday. You either disassociate with a smoker label and associate with a nonsmoker, or you do not. There is no try.

Absolutely. You can't enrich your life by chasing the goal of fulfillment because it's like trying to fill a bottomless pit with treasure. What you need to do is realize that nothing has ever been lacking, then you will not only be able to enjoy the fruit of your labor and your journey to it but you will also be able to give to others from your overflow which is life's greatest joy. That, paradoxically, brings even more abundance flowing to you, because nature favors those who know how to circul…

Do short trees complain that they get less sun than the taller ones? No. You live life by doing the best you can with what you've got, not by pointing out who's more "victim of life". Unless you can magically morph, that's madness.

And before that it was the bible and "with God, all things are possible", but then we discovered the scientific method and got so enamored by its miraculous ability to predict reality that we completely lost touch with the creative power of our psyche. That is precisely the limiting belief that these books attack: that success and wealth are finite and therefore this knowledge has to be hidden from the public, out of fear that there would not be enough cake for everyone and the principle would stop working. That scarcity mentality leads to poverty and suffering and keeps people trapped in endless blame shifting, hate and division, manifesting worse reality for everyone. True, but you can also put 1000 hours into trying to do something and not get the result that you wanted. That's because you don't always get what you want, rather you get what you need, and that includes obstacles. It's usually not about the result anyway, it's about the journey of becoming.

People's conclusions may be wrong, but it is not due to flawed logic but lack of awareness of how it works, or lack of awareness of the necessary arguments required to reach the correct conclusion. In other words, it is due to inability to see the greater picture. That is why knowledge is power, because people use it to put people in the darkness. And when you are looking for something in the darkness, you might be right, or you might be wrong about what you think you see, but it's not your logi…

Have you ever watched a movie with somebody and was later surprised to learn that they arrived at a different yet legitimate conclusion about what happened in it? That's how people see the world. They see the same thing from different perspectives, but they are not aware that it's their own projection, so instead of trying to see the world from the perspective of the other person, they go around convincing everyone that they are the ones who got it wrong. This is why the world is so mad; because…

I haven't read the article but I see from this thread that a lot of people confuse self loathing with crying to release emotional tension. There's a difference, just like there's a difference between nervous and genuine laughter. We are also the only animals that have the ability to transcend their nature. So other people's mistakes should not be excuses to do more of the same, but rather pointers to the right course of action.

Relationship is a concept that implies a mutual connection, so perhaps you can be in control of your connection, but not the relationship because that also implies control over the other person involved - their connection. The word you are looking for is influence. I know it may just seem like semantics but our very nature is linguistic and the words have great effect on our understanding of how the world works.

Great post. So much could be said about the reasons for this situation. I think the primary one is fear. SmartPhone is the closest thing that comes to a shield from external reality. Something which was initially intended to bring people together is in my opinion sometimes driving us apart. We are becoming slaves to something which was supposed to be our agent of liberation.

I was talking about attachment to ideas. I'm sorry to hear about your dog. How is he doing now? These situations often serve as a reminder of what we really care for and that these things may be taken from us, unexpectedly, in a heartbeat. In a sense then, death, impermanence and non attachment actually teach us about life, love and connection.

The women that were at my technical uni excelled at maths. Actually that goes for high school too. From what I remember in general they were better students than boys who would rather do sports and couldn't sit quietly in class and focus. Perhaps it depends on the country/region /school profile.

Reality is fluid. Different things matter, depending on the context. Be like water... don't get too attached to anything. It's wise to just be the best person you can be, always - everything else should follow.

The paradox of this "game" is that nobody wins: everyone dies at the end. We'd like to believe in technology which could extend our lives forever but somehow we never think how miserable that existence would be, considering our current emotional maturity. So, life is what you make it out to be and if you consider the "long" game, which extends after you die, and you want to see more liars in it, by all means be a liar... Life is not a game, it's a circle. Things are born, they live and then they die. Nothing is permanent. It's only become a game because humans can see the circle for what it is, and decided to turn that into a game of life with the hope that some day they will collectively come up with a way to 1up on the universe and win the game (even though they themselves created the game). We just cannot accept the cycle of life and death so we created an entire system based on assurance and extension of liv…

Thank you for writing this, I'm deeply humbled that my words spoke to you. It's a lesson I learned the hard way unfortunately. If you're hungry, you don't ask for food so you can go hunt. If you want muscles, you don't ask for strength so that you can lift some weights. That's not a universal characteristic at all. Human nature is primarily to learn by experiencing and there's also a lot to say here about perception, pattern seeking and filtering information - in general, there is too much information out there for us to be consciously be aware of, so we selectively focus on information which we think is important and the rest is swept under the carpet. Perhaps you aim to be an important person so you see this highlighted in others but it doesn't mean that they…

Look. It's like this. Consider the difference between these two sentences: "can I get a kiss from you?" and "I'll give you a kiss". Got it? Almost everybody loves to be given stuff, especially kisses. Conversely, nobody loves to be asked to do things. If somebody doesn't want what you have, there is no point fighting reality. So why the hell are you still asking yourself how to GET something? The biggest shift in consciousness you can make is to stop asking what you can GET from the world and st…

Our culture is lost already and nothing except genocide could restore it. Sadly I have to agree. We seem to have gone over the point of no return in many regards and it's already out of control. If we don't murder each others first then nature has it planned out for us. Our last hope may be technology but it may very well turn out to be another nail to the coffin shrugs

Boys do what they want. Men do what needs to be done. If somebody treats another like shit, it is the other person's role to acknowledge that they are merely hurting themselves. Why? Because that is the difference between a leader and a boss. There is a saying: with awareness comes responsibility. It's impossible to solve the problem of irresponsibility by behaving irresponsibly.

When you consider all the fairy tale movies about the good guy "saving the world" and the bad guy trying to take over the world, in reality, what's happening is that the bad guy is ambitious and wants to move forward in the world, while the good guy wants to maintain the status quo. There is no darkness without the light, etc. Life is a constant pull between these two energies. We're all social animals because it's an efficient survival strategy, thus we're all susceptible to manipulation. Feminisation of men also relies on group think so when you say that feminised men suffer from group think you have some circle logic going on.
