The greatest insight I’ve ever gotten about women has been each time I ended up with one I didn’t like but was really into me. Usually through online dating, when she turns out to look worse than her pictures. In these cases, I do not try to be charming. I barely try at all. Most of the date is just me looking for an exit. Sometimes I even actively throw “red flags” about me at them. Doesn’t matter. They still like me. And actually, if anything, this just causes them to escalate with me. One rec…

I just ignore the “am I alpha enough??” shit. There’s usually enough other stuff to make coming here worthwhile. But I hear you and agree on that. Penis measuring is an absurd waste of time. Added: I also tend to ignore the stuff that crosses into outright animosity toward women. Or that overgeneralizes them to a degree I find unrecognizable from experience. But I must admit women have some undeniable tendencies, and stuff like holding frame, making them qualify themselves, etc. actually works.

It’s all in the balance dude. Yeah, some people and posts here take this stuff to extremes, but it’s still useful if you have the discernment to cull the useful from the cartoonish. To me, this sub’s ethos is all about seeing the true dynamics of human nature - the things men, women, and people in general want, need, and respond to, often on a subconscious level. But the thing about human behavior is that it’s also highly complex, with many competing influences. So while acknowledging, for examp…

Laughter can be a very powerful seductive weapon. Girls have told me I have an “evil” laugh, which I take as a compliment.

“Covert contract,” that’s perfect. When a guy likes a girl but doesn’t have the balls to make a move, instead relies on “nice” yet obsessive behavior. News flash to wimps like this: girls like boldness and confidence. They can smell the weakness of covert contract orbiting a mile away.

As with any skill, the only path to eventual mastery is learning the “rules” inside and out... then throwing them out and acting on intuition.

What’s particularly hilarious about this phenomenon is that despite knowing somewhere in themselves that they will one day (sooner than they think) lose their beauty and the benefits it bestows, they still prance through their prettiest phase like it’ll last forever, never once bothering to build any enduring skills or character traits. The smart ones not only know their beauty is fleeting - they all do - but do something about it while they still have relative social power. But usually these ar…

Exactly. Christians (I refer here mainly to the evangelical variety) have a reputation for being moral and loyal, but all too often they fail at this just as much as anyone else. Sometimes worse, because spending a lifetime being told one must deny temptation often makes it all the more tempting.

A college friend of mine was a straight-up sociopath who rarely showered, was addicted to a variety of drugs, and unemployed. Got laid more than any of us, and I don’t just mean the skanky, easy girls. I used to be shocked at the hotness (and apparent “innocence”) of some of the chicks he pulled. And he wasn’t even that good-looking, not ripped at all (thanks to constant drinking and drug use). Just truly didn’t give a shit what anyone thought, was fascinating in his recklessness, and straight-u…

To make her cum buckets, while in missionary kneel with your knees under her thighs, lift up her ass, and grind it up and down into you. Also works while standing beside the bed. But get her legs up.

The funny thing about the emotionless ball of muscle and boners approach is that I’ve heard from many women (mainly during pillow talk) that they were turned off by otherwise hot guys who were like this. The key to success with women (and people in general) is truly emotional connection.

I’ve never adhered or aspired to the emotionally impenetrable “alpha” archetype sometimes described here. Not only is it phony and transparent as hell if you aren’t naturally that way, but it’s not nearly as effective as a more balanced combination of strength and empathy/vulnerability. Personally, I’ve always had the most success when I behaved essentially as OP describes. Emotionally open and communicative without being boring or needy, and while also signaling that I am completely comfortable…

You answered your own question. Most girls don’t want to be with a guy who doesn’t have a job and lives with his parents. Change that and you will see more matches/convos become dates instantly.

I seriously doubt ejaculation has any impact (other than very short term) on T levels. But even if it did, giving up sex just to ensure higher T levels doesn't sound like even close to a fair trade to me.

That’s a hard question to answer concisely. Basically it’s a continuum of intimacy from playful flirting/touching to more serious overtures. Over the course of time together, you get more and more comfortable with each other - read her responses to your escalation and adapt accordingly, while always assuming attraction. If they’re into you and you’ve made your interest known, most girls will respond in an inviting way, but sometimes the signs are subtle, and a few girls actually remain standoffi…

Basically the push/pull concept, but applied in the context of expressing interest in them vs. making them prove themselves you. So what I generally do is engage and signal initial interest, then either pull back and give my attention to someone/something else, or at least start saying things that make them qualify themselves for me, in a playful way. For example, if they say they like a certain band, I'll say something like "are all your tastes bad?" with a teasing grin. Or if they say they don…

It's actually funny how much more women started responding to me when I engaged them in a way that showed they needed to prove themselves to me, as opposed to the other way around as is often assumed by both genders. And almost every time I lost a girl's interest was when I slipped up and started treating her like the prize.

This is true, but with the caveat that a lot of non-physical things factor into whether a girl considers you to be good looking. That can include everything from your body language and style, to how she was feeling that night and what the overall context of the encounter was. Also, I've heard plenty of stories from girls about how they initially didn't find someone attractive but their attraction grew over time for whatever reason. But generally speaking, women usually know within seconds of mee…

I want to second this. Sometimes restraint can be the most powerful weapon a guy has in his seduction arsenal. Similar to the psychology of push/pull, not going as far as you can as fast as you can often has an enticing effect on women.

There's a difference between being truly "poly" and simply being nonmonogamous / non-exclusive with various girls (commonly referred to here as spinning plates). Poly implies serious relationships with multiple partners, and I agree, that's far too much work and financial/emotional investment. I don't mind having a variety of fuck buddies who may also fool around with other guys from time to time, provided everyone is practicing safe sex. Last night while I was on a date, I couldn't help but overhear another "couple" next to us. Hot girl with a kind of dopey-looking guy. What caused me to start listening was when I caught her saying something about nonmonogamy. That's when the horror of it sunk in. She was telling this guy all about some other dude she's fucking, who recently told her he's not monogamous (i.e., he's also fucking other girls). Take it from me, a guy who once had a long-term relationship with an extremely hot girl. The kind of girl guys would regularly shout out their car windows at when we went out. After a while, sex with them gets as unrewarding as sex with any other woman. Plus, regarding your cousin, marriage (or any long-term exclusive and committed relationship) is its own prison. Simply knowing that you can't take a chance with someone else without it being considered cheating, for the rest of your life, is a m…

One thing for sure is that all girls are at least somewhat different in terms of how they display their intentions. I mean, yes, there are some commonalities, explained sufficiently elsewhere, but also enough variance to still create surprises. I've had girls show apparently no physical interest whatsoever, and seem completely aloof around me, only to hook up with me that same night. Then other girls who do blatantly flirtatious things around me but then turn me away and act all surprised that I…

You know, I used to resist the temptation to believe this about most younger men, mostly because I don’t like feeling like a “kids these days!” grump. But then I kept seeing so many examples of younger guys desperately trying to impress girls with ultra-feminist virtue signaling, and generally being weak and unassertive around the opposite sex, that I knew there was a problem. Particularly because these dudes would usually get nowhere with women using this approach. I don’t know how many of thes…

Wouldn’t surprise me if the number of millennial girls willing to date significantly older men is higher than the prior generation because so many millennials (including the guys) are rudderless and economically fucked. An older guy provides a level of maturity, independence, and financial stability that many younger dudes lack.

Yeah, to each his own, but I’ll never touch steroids for as long as a fine-tuned combination of weight training, HIIT cardio, and good diet keep me lean and just muscular enough. Women have outright told me I have the ideal body type. At just under 10% bf, I can’t get much leaner without looking like I’m training for a fight, and any more muscle would make me look like a meat head. Plus, I don’t have to worry about long-term sustainability or potential steroid side-effects. I’m just healthy.

Fair points, but I think you’re misunderstanding me. When I say these girls go crazy ultimately, it’s because I won’t become exclusive with them, not because they’re inherently messed up. Because my past has consisted of a pretty even combination of serious relationships and casual flings, and I’m not emotionally distant with women even when I insist on keeping things non-exclusive, I broadcast “boyfriend” vibes no matter what I tell them about my not looking to commit. This has caused many wome…

This is absolutely true. Every knock-out gorgeous woman I’ve been with, if we’re cool enough with each other to discuss past partners, has shared that she’s been with multiple guys who were not stereotypically/physically Chaddish in the slightest. Some were even, according to the girls, not very good-looking at all. But they were drawn to other qualities about these ordinary dudes. No. It’s practically a law of physics that men on dating apps punch below their weight, and women the opposite (although they’re rarely ever able to keep the men they get via apps, for the same reason). This is why meeting women in real life is still infinitely preferable.

Acquire more of them and build a hate/fan club. Then, if you’re lucky, one of them will see you out somewhere, act all crazy around you, and you’ll have all the social proof you need in front of the girl(s) you actually want. “That girl’s crazy. I turned down a second date with her and now she’s acting all psycho.” New girl’s internal thoughts: What is it about this guy that’s making girls act like this? I must find out! Later, new girl also goes crazy and joins your orbit. Rinse, repeat.

Oh, they hate rejection too. It’s one of the reasons why they generally take absolutely no initiative – mortal fear of rejection. In fact, they hate it so much that they will sometimes suddenly find themselves pursuing a guy they initially didn’t want, just because the guy preemptively told them to get lost.

This is all spot on, except that in my experience you can indeed convert a casual fling into a relationship (if you want), but only through subtle acts like weaving long intellectual/emotional conversations into pillow talk, finding out more about each others’ backgrounds, etc. As opposed to overtly doing “serious relationship” things like dinner and boyfriend/girlfriend day activities. I never said women don’t do anything to improve themselves. Obviously they do. My point was that men, because they are expected to take the lead sexually/romantically, have a relatively greater built-in incentive to strive and toughen themselves to failure.

In addition to helping a person learn, failure combined with a healthy attitude also makes the person more resilient and resourceful overall. Because with each failure comes the realization that it wasn't the end of the world, and the sting hurts less and less each time (again, with the right attitude). This, in turn, fosters the level of courage needed to really soar. Truly great things don't happen to timid people. Added: This, ironically, makes men the more fortunate of the sexes because they…

Congrats on your successful, long, and ongoing marriage. That may be the end goal for you with TRP, while for others it may be remaining single but with a series of female lovers/companions, and for others still it may be some kind of non-monogamous long-term thing with a primary partner. I get what you’re saying, but there’s a difference between appreciating/loving vs. pedestalizing a woman. The former is recognition of an awesome and mutual thing you’ve got, while still keeping your wits about you enough to not get played in some way. It’s a delicate balance to strike, and essential to it is making sure the woman is at least as into you as you are into her. Pedestalizing, on the other hand, is falling for a fantasy idea of a woman as pure and incorruptibly good, to a degree whe…

The only way is to force yourself into increasingly challenging social situations and embrace the awkwardness. It’s like overcoming phobia - start small and work your way up, which will condition you to realize there’s actually nothing to fear and reality isn’t static, it’s a dynamic organism that responds to the force of your will and boldness.

It’s kind of funny how you imply recognizing myself as disarming, engaging, and having what it takes to be a good husband or father is somehow not being kind and encouraging to myself. Believe it or not, I like having those qualities, and they make up a large part of my appeal. And they’re not just labels I apply to myself from out of nowhere. I’ve had many women straight-up tell me these are qualities I exhibit. I take it as flattery, and that’s clearly how they intend it. My problem, if you co…

The only way to learn (in all things) is to try and fail. So accept mistakes as inevitable, but also essential, stepping stones toward ultimate success.

Right. Mastery to the point of making things look easy. It’s obvious when it comes to a distinct skill – jugglers, musicians, etc. who are so good they seem like they’re exerting little effort at all – but less obvious when you’re talking about presence and charm.

By building up your own sense of self worth, through genuine accomplishment, improvement, and fulfillment that does not depend on the validation of others. Because if you feel genuinely good about yourself and where you are in life, failure and rejection feels far less like an indictment of your fundamental value as a person.

Ah yes, if the woman already has a guy in mind (perhaps with whom she’s been cheating on her husband), she may be more inclined to go for it. But this rarely ends well for her.

I agree generally that more divorces likely result from wanting other options than from abuse, simply because actual abuse is relatively rare. But from what I’ve seen (being of an age where it’s happening among my friends, family, and peers), men are at least as likely to seek divorce because they’re sick of their wives and want to sleep with other women as women are to seek divorce because they’re bored. Also, there’s still a significant emotional (if not financial) incentive for women to stay …

True enough about women’s post-divorce financial support, but I’m referring here more to their dread of growing old alone. Most at least want a companion, no matter how boring or broken, to be around late in life, and women often have a hard time finding that past a certain age.

The key to DGAF, which I agree is essential (to life in general as well as with women) is losing your fear of loss/failure/rejection. It’s knowing deep down that such outcomes are inevitable, yet you will survive and continue to be happy. The irony of it is that (again regarding both women and life in general) shedding your fear of failure actually makes failure less likely. People of all kinds can just sense the “you’ve got this” confidence about you, and they reward you for it. It’s an odd fea…

I get what you’re saying but this is very rare. Most women of that age (even the hot ones) know it’s in their best interests to stay with their husband if they have one, assuming he’s not abusive or whatever. Of course, usually they just cheat instead if they are “bored” with their man. Can’t tell you how many times an older married woman tried to get with me on a work trip or vacation.

I shoot for once every week or two, and generally date women in their 30s. But what’s funny is that the one who caught feelings the hardest was in her 20s and certainly didn’t lack in options. She also knew I had recently gotten out of a serious relationship and definitely wasn’t trying for another. Certainly not trying to brag here, but my general impression has been that women who sleep with me almost always end up falling in deep in spite of themselves.

Here's the thing - it's a numbers game for guys, so anything that could harm our overall chances of getting laid can result in a significant reduction of that outcome. And because telling girls upfront when (or soon after) you meet will deter a great many of them, that approach can have a severe impact on a guy's sexual prospects. In stark contrast, women interested in casual can almost always find it even (or especially) when they openly say that's their goal from the beginning. You may disagre…

Tinder's free-wheeling, purely-hookup days are largely over. Over the last few years, it's like its reputation as a hookup app made girls self-conscious. Plus they keep hearing stories of people who started actual relationships from it. So I think the prevailing intent of girls on Tinder has changed. Sure, there are still a lot who are cool with casual sex, but not nearly as many as there used to be.

OP is looking to be the guy she wants to fuck all the time, but never hang out with. That's a tight rope, because she has to be turned on, minimal amounts of trust. The way it's done is the hot and cold treatment, and having zero positive non sexual qualities. He's only good for fun in her mind, and not reliable at all. As I was saying in my other comments, this is indeed an extremely hard tightrope to walk. Not enough appealing qualities, and she doesn't want to hook up with you. Too many appea…

I do this with the women I meet, and still they end up trying to be my girlfriend. I can't tell you how many times I've straight up told a woman after we had sex that I want to keep things casual and am seeing other women, they say that's not their preference but think they can hang, then they inevitably catch feelings and freak out. It's a clear pattern. As I said in another comment, I think part of this is my falling victim to the same attributes that make me appealing to them in the first pla…

Good question. It's certainly possible. While I'm very good at seducing women, I've been told that my personality is such that they often view me as more than just a fun sexual experience. I've never been able to treat women like shit. If I had to describe my style (both generally and with women), I'd say it's disarming and engaging, as opposed to emotionally distant and confrontational. Could also have something to do with my career and age. I'm a well-paid professional in my 30s, so I think ma…
