But women cost more in terms of health insurance. Mostly because of childbirth, and they do pay more around childbirthing age. Men actually end up paying more later in life because they have more health issues on avg. than women do, according to a health economics study at MIT.

Ok I'm all for equal rights and all but this is the inverse of the 'women athlete' argument where they should be paid the same as male athletes, despite male athletes bringing way more money in because of high viewership. Insurance companies are a business, set out to make the highest amount of money at the best margins. According to the CDC, young males between the ages of 16-19 are 2x as likely to be killed in a motor vehicle death than female counterparts. Statistically, men do dumb shit behi…

For those in a paywall or blocked in their country: A former legislative staffer who accused Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens) of groping him four years ago is appealing the investigation that found his claim to be unsubstantiated. Danny Fierro filed a notice of appeal Wednesday to the Assembly Rules Committee that asserted “the investigation was not impartial or conducted in good faith, and did not afford Mr. Fierro due process.” Fierro said several witnesses were not interviewed, …

Cannot wait for the backlash on this one. Sad that we can't approach any topic viewing one event as independent (in this case, male suicide rates) without a group coming out and claiming that they're underrepresented, or that it's deserved, or something similar. Edit: sort of happening already. People making it about 'being triggered' which is the whole point of the Project - to draw attention through shock.

No because capitalism is the tool of the patriarchal devil and socialism is the way to go, so everyone should be paid the same no matter what they do. /s

For a degree requiring only a high school diploma, in a medium sized town, with benefits that's a very solid salary

I'm not even internet whoring for karma, I genuinely thought that was him. I was thinking, "Oh, it's not terrible for an acid attack. I've seen much worse, but if he's blind, that fucking sucks." I couldn't believe that was her. It looked like a mild acid attack

I mean, I agree with literally everything you said. But I stand by my statement. Taking her to the ground like that and risking a very serious head injury isn't worth it unless his life was seriously in danger. If she had picked up a weapon, I may have resorted to something like that but unfortunately if she had died, every jury ever would have put him behind bars, even if he was in the right

The white knighting is ridiculous, but the bus driver acted like an idiot. I know standing up for these double standards is the right thing to do, but man or woman, the best thing to do is to walk away from a fight (if possible). A hit to her head on the ground like that could have killed her. Even if the jury found him innocent (unprobable) he would have to live with it.

Amen. The SJW's sink to the level of internet-bullying, doxxing, and online lynch mobs. Sinking to their level shows we are no different than them. We can be the better people.
