Thanks for your pearls of wisdom but we’re actually happy with our current arrangement. My husband is a stone mason, he does restoration work on historical buildings, cathedrals, churches etc. he doesn’t have a set place of work, he could be working around the corner for a couple of weeks and then the next job could be a two hour drive each way. There are plenty of days where he spends 3-4 hours driving to and from a job and then works 8-10 hours while there. I disagree about marriage meaning yo…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 06:02 AM

Clearly not. I’m sure everyone would love a job where you get paid just to turn up. A job where you spend most of the day drinking coffee, gossiping and pretending to work. That’s not the case for people that actually have to produce something. I’ll take being a house wife over any paid job I’ve ever done.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 10:36 AM

What did your mom do for a living? I always did shift work so being a SAHM is much much better.

If the thing you’re uncomfortable with was something that they’ve always done from the time you’ve met then no, you can’t expect them not not to do it. If you don’t like a certain behaviour or lifestyle then don’t date someone with that behaviour or lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:53 AM

I never had a chance to just fuck around much at work and I’m a woman who worked in hospitality. My husband works on a price meaning he’s told fix this or build that and I’ll give you X amount of money. The quicker he gets the job done the quicker he moves on to the next one. It costs him to fuck around. I briefly worked for customer service for Sky and we were constantly monitored and didn’t have time for chit chat or any banter. It’s obviously dependant on what kind of job you’re doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:33 AM

I disagree with point 2. Time to get ready for work + commute to and from work could easily turn that 8 hours into 11 hours away from the home. Eating, showering, sleeping and you don’t really have many hours in the day left to relax. I have two young children and I still have a lot of free time during the day to myself. I don’t think anyone wants to leave the house at 7am and come home at 6pm to a list of chores to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:27 AM

My husband works full time while I take care of all of the domestic work. When I say all I really do mean all. When he gets home from work all he has to do is shower and change and he has the whole evening free, every day. The way I see it he is providing financially so it’s my job to make sure he doesn’t have to do/worry about much else. People don’t normally have sex and then children with their platonic roommates so your reply is a bit stupid anyway

They’re easy. Any woman that would agree to that kind of lifestyle is not well adjusted and did not have a normal upbringing.

I just googled it. I saw very few naturally attractive women but a lot of women with fake boobs, lips and hair extensions wearing revealing clothing. He has access to easy women. A lot of men do. It’s not something to brag about.

He has physical attributes that might earn him temporary favour with some women but overall he’s not a physically attractive man. I’ve seen at least five men better looking than him today in my local pub, I live in a shithole and it’s a Sunday afternoon.

He’s objectively not attractive. I just googled Andrew Tate and looked at photos and I can say with confidence that he’s not a “top tier” man. He has a recessed chin which he hides with his facial hair. He looks to have an adenoid face which is caused by mouth breathing. He’s not aging well either, I was surprised to see he’s only 36. He’s cocky and arrogant, has a massively inflated ego and doesn’t appear to be very bright either. I know he claims to be highly intelligent, stupid people normall…

Attractive women who come from broken homes, past trauma, abuse, drug addictions and all sorts. What a great man he is that he can manipulate broken and vulnerable women.

That’s not true though is it? Even men who cheat are very unlikely to leave their wives for the other woman.

It’s rare for a man to leave his wife for another woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 07:46 AM

It’s rare for that to happen and when it does there was very likely a lot of other issues besides some natural ageing.

Uh no, it won’t have the same effect. A married couple in their 50s who are close in age and both took measures to keep themselves looking good is a world of difference to a married couple in their 30s who were both slim and put effort into their appearance when meeting but now one of them gained a ton of weight, does not make the same effort with their hair, clothes etc. Usually these changes aren’t purely physical, they come with emotional and behavioural changes also. A couples lifestyle may …

A lot self proclaimed nice guys have awful traits just like you listed too. There’s no guarantee that because a man isn’t a “chad” that he’ll treat you really well and have the utmost respect for you and everyone around you.

Most people get fat due to laziness and overeating not any health issues. I don’t know many people that would just walk away as soon as their SO gains a little weight. These things happen over a period of time, hints may be dropped, conversations had. It’s not fair on the partner who is maintaining their health and their appearance. Usually people in relationships would gain weight together or naturally age together and that’s not an issue. It’s only an issue when one person lets themselves go.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:39 AM
2

Everyone ages, if a couple ages and declines together then it shouldn’t be an issue. Natural aging isn’t the same as one person in a relationship suddenly gaining a lot of weight and putting considerably less effort into their appearance. It doesn’t matter how nice you are or what you have in common, those things usually don’t do anything for anyone in the bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:27 AM

It doesn’t happen overnight does it? When you keep gaining weight you have to keep buying bigger clothes. Why don’t people stop at that point?

I only read bits and pieces of what went on but my biggest question is why they were having these discussions via text message? How old were they at the time? The language Jonah Hill was using and the way he was expressing things was all a bit cringe and reeked of insecurity. That lady is crazy for sharing everything with the whole world though. They both seem insufferable to be honest. Within a relationship it would be justified for a man to tell his girlfriend that he doesn’t want her posting …

Definitely. It’s obvious that both tall men and short women have more options when it comes to dating. Most men want a woman that’s shorter than them and for women it’s the opposite so it’s only natural that that would happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 08:43 PM
2

A lot of tall men seem to like shorter women too. It’s not that the short women are going out stealing all the tall men from the tall women, tall men are actively pursuing short women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 07:33 AM
1

If you’re very short you’re going to have less options, that’s just a fact. I can’t speak for all women but I’m very bad at guessing people’s height. I’m 5’1 and just very petite, I always get people commenting on how small I am and how small my hands are but to me they’re obviously normal sized and I don’t see them as small. I see people’s height in relation to my own. Anything 5 inches taller than me starts to appear tall, at least up close. A tall man is definitely going to stand out in a roo…

You don’t have to get jacked just don’t be fat and have some muscle mass and definition. Make it look you do physical work and enjoy outdoor activities without looking like a gym bro. If a man is tall but otherwise unattractive facially, overweight, maybe he has bad posture and is socially awkward or whatever, he is invisible to most women no matter what. Being short and and having other redeemable qualities within your control is definitely preferable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 05:10 PM

From my perspective as a woman who has never been overweight, being overweight was always a disqualifying factor for me. I’ve never liked the tall and skinny look either. Just my opinion but also I’m a shorter woman myself so there’s that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:46 PM
16

Being tall can never hurt your chances with women, it will nearly always be seen as a bonus. Seeing as height is something you can’t change you’re better off forgetting about it and focusing on things that you can. Get in good shape, a shorter man who’s in great shape is more physically attractive than a tall skinny or fat guy.

There’s a lot of young men out there that work in male oriented professions, they don’t have buzzing social lives and online dating is a complete mess. How can you just say “it is what it is”? It doesn’t even happen often enough to be bothersome. Even when I was younger and actively dating, had a more active social life and worked in hospitality I’d get asked out by total strangers a few times a month, if even. I don’t understand this at all. I’ve always found it extremely flattering even if I wasn’t interested. I would hope that any man asking me on a date in any setting would find me hot. It’s not really fair to men to say “you can’t approach women unless they find you attractive” because how are they supposed to know unless they ask? Sometimes there may be signs and cues but it’s not always obvious. It’s not that hard to just say I’m flattered and thank you but I’m not interested/have a boyfriend wi…

It depends on a lot of things. Most people would say the man but in my relationship it’s definitely equal. Sometimes he’s hornier and sometimes I am. I’ve seen a few women in the replies saying they only have a responsive sex drive and not a spontaneous one. I seem to have both, definitely spontaneous around the time I’m ovulating and even on some other occasions when I’m not but responsive most other times. Yeah, I get that and it’s good of you to offer to pay, women do like the offer even if they insist on splitting. I’m just saying that past experiences with men who expected sex after a date and maybe were a bit pushy can make a woman hesitant and it’s good to keep that in mind too.

For me it wasn’t so much about equality, I just never wanted to be put in a position where I felt obligated to have sex. Also if I didn’t want to see them again after the first date I’d just feel bad for them buying me dinner and drinks to never see me again. After a couple of dates it doesn’t matter anymore anyway, if you know you want to keep seeing the person. I don’t think everything needs to be split 50/50 forever. I mean, I’m a stay at home mom and my husband provides financially 100% so i…

Why can’t you just believe that women are being truthful? There’s always going to be a subset of women that are ok with that kind of arrangement but most, that I know anyway, would never be happy with that lifestyle. Between the ages of 19-24 I worked in a very upscale 5 star hotel. We had a lot of rich clientele, a lot of men staying on business etc. I got asked out a few times by men wearing tailored suits and Rolex’s and I never bit. Very rarely are these rich guys even attractive or desirabl…

You can’t force someone to be intimate with you though, even if they’re having sex with you. You can have sex with 20 women and never truly be intimate with any of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:27 AM

You never let them? What does that mean? I know for a fact there’s a number of men out there who pay for dates in the hopes the woman will feel obligated to have sex with them. It’s manipulative. Also, she ghosted you because she wasn’t that into you. If a girl really really likes you she’s not going to let you accepting an offer to split the bill stop her from seeing you again.

I don’t think it’s unfair and that’s why I said effort is needed both ways. Easily 75%+ of the moms picking up their kids at my kids school are overweight, put no effort into their appearances and wear sports wear everyday even though they clearly don’t work out. What man wants to seduce that?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 04:14 AM

The first time I saw titanic I only about 11 years old and I thought Rose was stupid because Billy Zane was hot. Tell 1000 women that they have to choose between a young Billy Zane and he’s rich or a young Leo and he’s homeless and has nothing to offer besides some half decent drawings of prostitutes. I think I know what 99% of women would pick. I never empathised with rose at all during the movie. A handsome and rich man offers to save her family from humiliation by marrying her and providing f…

A grown man and a baby aren’t the same thing lol. You can have sex without intimacy and intimacy without sex. No one has ever died from not having sex. If you’re going to make an analogy like that then compare a want with a want not a want with a need.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 03:21 PM

I agree that our sexuality is different. For women the build up to sex is very important. Women like to be seduced, even by the man they’ve been with for 10 years and have kids with. I think men either forget that or think that it’s not necessary after being together for so long.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 03:13 PM

Comparing sex to food and sexual urges to hunger is stupid because you will not die if you don’t have sex. It’s not an actual physical need to stay alive but an intense want.

That could also have something to do with sex being very one sided a lot of the time. I’m sure there’s plenty of cases where the man does everything right and the women loses interest but men can also lose interest in seducing their wives/girlfriends. Having your husband come home from work without saying much to you all day and then just start groping you as soon as you’ve sat down after putting the kids to bed isn’t very sexy or romantic compared to the start of a relationship where everything…

It’s completely blue pilled. They make Billy Zanes character look like a total asshole to justify Roses actions. He was going to save her family from the brink of poverty and she seemed uninterested in him, thought “nah screw my family and my pride” and threw it all away for some sweaty sex with a gambling, homeless fuckboy. How often in real life does a beautiful and wealthy young woman date a literal bum? To top it all off she obviously married some other guy and had a family but still thought…

Didn’t read all the replies so I’m not sure if someone said this but titanic. We all know if Jack didn’t die that relationship would have died anyway. My husband works a very physical job and is “ruining his body” to provide financially for us. He risks his health, just a few weeks ago he broke his arm when he fell off some scaffolding. He’s always coming home with new injuries, cuts, bruises Even single moms these days have an easier time finding relationships than an awful lot of single childless men.

As long as you have basic cooking skills and a basic understanding of how ingredients work together you can cook anything and with practice you’ll just get good. If you don’t have these skills you can do a basic cooking course. A lot of night schools offer them, if that’s not an option watch videos and cooking programs. I consider myself to be more of a classic liberal, so not left wing by todays standards at all. My husband is apolitical, he’s not interested in anything like that. He has no social media or online presence is not up to date on current events, culture wars or anything of the sort at all and I doubt he’s even heard of “red pill.” I’m a stay at home parent and we live by quite traditional gender roles but we’re not traditional in many ways also. I don’t believe that men always pay for sex, I’m sure there’s people who see it that way but I don’t. If a man takes a woman on a date purely with the expectation he’ll be getting sex at the end then seriously, why not just get a prostitute? It’s very insulting as a woman when a man offers to pay for a date, which is usually less than what a prostitute costs just fyi, and then just think sex is a given. I went on one date with a guy like that in my early 20s, he insisted on paying for everything…

I know a couple of women that had babies young with a total loser who never stepped up and still managed to find love and happiness. One of my best friends had her son at 21, she’s 30 now and married to a great guy. He’s better looking and definitely better quality than her baby daddy. He also had a child from a previous relationship and now they have one together too. Do you actually know any real people living real lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 05:26 AM

women don’t orgasm every time we have sex. Some men can’t make a woman orgasm at all. A man may be happy with a high quantity of sex but for women it’s all about the quality of it. No woman wants to have sex 20 times a day if she’s getting nothing out of it. It’s just work then.

I’m a woman and I value sex in a relationship very much and I never pretend that I don’t. I had a sexless, dead bedroom relationship once and I understand just how important sex is in a relationship. Some women definitely use sex as a bargaining chip but many of us don’t and actually enjoy and value intimacy in our relationships. Everyone wants to feel desired.

The evidence for women not enjoying sex as much relies mainly on womens self reported experiences. It doesn’t surprise me at all because of how many women out there have only had sexual experiences with men that just use their body to masturbate. A woman is obviously going to say they don’t enjoy sex all that much if their only experiences to draw upon were not all that exciting. I’m a woman, I know what I enjoy and what I don’t. I used to think that I didn’t enjoy sex that much but it was just the guys that I was with didn’t make it enjoyable for me. Men in their 30s are usually the most attractive. Look at famous male heartthrobs like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp etc, handsome when young but definitely the hottest in their 30s to early 40s. Harrison ford had women gushing over him in Indiana Jones in his late 30s but he looked a bit dorky in his 20s. I always find it amusing when men say with such confidence that women don’t enjoy sex as much. What you’re really saying is that you’ve never been with a woman who had a genuine burning desire for you or you can’t properly arouse a woman and satisfy her sexually.
