If you are starting puberty at 7 you would be given blockers trans or not. Hormone blockers have been used for nearly 40 years to delay puberty in children. I doubt she is actually trying to chemically castrate him. Young kids do not medically transition. Nothing medically can even happen until the teen years. Then they can start blockers.
