Doing anything for your children? Definitely. Helping the ex-wife along the way? Big negative. Make sure the therapist has a no court clause in their service contract. You don't need them on the stand, they're there to help all parties in a non-judgmental way until the situation is resolved one way or the other. Them hitting the stand is judgemental, so that's the ground you stand when picking one. Also try to get an NDA with regard to their feedback with the STBXW.

They definitely turn off the sex drive at two stages. Right at marriage. Right when the kid is born. I honestly think it's a thing of selfishness. They got what they want, now you're nothing more than the food on plate and roof overhead at best. At worst they listen to their strong empowered friends who say "you don't need him!" and then they bail.
