Yea I’m in an apartment now. It sucks not having a yard for the kids but it is what it is. Switched jobs and now gotta get some time in the job to get a mortgage. Hard to sit idle when the prices are going through the roof but you’ll get another opportunity. Just be patient and work on bettering yourself in the meantime.

Work to build yourself up. Exercise, sleep, meditate. Look up stoicism. Don’t drink too much. No drugs. You gotta be squeaky clean. It’s going to be an uphill battle. Stay strong brother.

I agree with the above. Focus on building yourself up. Because she will try to tear you down.

Yes I been through it but with kids. Get out before you have kids. Or else it will continue forever, especially if you separate.

I’d you don’t have kids then it’s over. I don’t understand why you would fear the court now. If you got a settlement then it’s over

Only you know what you want. I suspect you don’t really want that

Good. Get your $ and belongings and don’t talk to her ever again. Good she took you off the apartment lease. Go rent a room or stay with family for a bit. It’ll work out. It has to

So basically he is a Monster and you’re and you’re super awesome. You did ALL the housework, made ALL the money, and did ALL the child raising. Many of us men have been depicted Falsely of this exact same thing. So the courts have heard it all, repeatedly, like every case. So they’re a bit skeptical now depending on your locality. You’re in a bad position as the breadwinner you have a lot more to lose financially. Yes he could get alimony 50/50 and child support + half the assets. And you could …

Oh yeah standard procedure. This happened to me ex started claiming I was emotionally abusive. Shortly after I pulled the plug because I felt like she was trying to lay the foundation for something sketchy. Once she got served she lost it. How could you do this to me blah blah blah +fake tears. I think shes just upset I beat her to the punch. Abusers don't usually leave the relationship, they want it to continue so they can. Keep up the abuse. They do some heavy projecting.

I'm getting called a drug addict bcuz I smoke Marijuana occasionally. in a legal state btw ! Actually the reason I filed for the div is she was starting down the false dv accusations road. Soon as she started calling me "abusive" called the lawyer and filed to protect myself.

I feel for you man. I am experiencing this exact same thing. Married to a Blamer. Always breathing down my neck telling me everything I do or say is wrong. I'm preparing to file. It's tough because even though you know you need to get out you want the best for the kids. In the long run if things are that broken it will likely be better apart.
